As briefed to you all during the July monthly pooja, Swasti Shri Charukeerti Bhattarakji of Moodbidri will be visiting our temple first weekend of August. Shri Charukeerti Bhattarakji is the pontiff of Moodbidri Jain Matt. Moodbidri Jain Matt, located in Karnatak is one of the holy places of pilgrimage for Jains and it is also popularly known as Jain Kashi. During Bhattarakji's visit, we are planning to have a very eventful weekend including his lectures; Sthapana of Shri Adinath Bhagawan and Shri Siddha Bhagawan Murtis; and Laghu Siddha Chakra Vidhaan in Shri 1008 Mahaveer Swami Temple. Since Year 2008 Pratishta, this is the biggest event we are having in Shri Mahaveer Swami Temple. So, please plan to attend the events and receive Dharma Labh.

Friday (08/03)

7:30 PM to 8:00 PM: Maha Mangal Aarti

8:00 PM to 9:30 PM : Bhattarakji's Lecture

Saturday (08/04)

8:00 AM to 9:00 AM - Prabhat Pheri of Shri Adinath Bhagawan and Shri Siddha Bhagwan Murtis around the temple, Vedi Shuddi, and Sthapana of Murtis on the Vedi

9:00 AM to 11:30 AM - Nav Kalash Abhishek and other Poojas in the auspicious presence and guidance of Bhattarakji followed by Aaarti.

11:30 AM to 1:00 PM - Lunch and cleanup

1:00 PM to 2:00 PM - Bhattarakji's Lecture

Please BE ON TIME for Prabhat Pheri with your entire family. It will start sharply at 8:00 AM.

Pran Pratishta of these two Murtis is being performed during Panchakalyanak Mahotsav of Shri Digambar Jain Temple at West New York, NJ between July 28th to Aug 1st.

SUNDAY (08/05)

9:00 AM to 9:30 AM - Initiation of Akshrabhyas for small kids by Bhattarakji.

This is a great opportunity for families to initiate their small kids (3 to 5 years olds) into formal learning in the premise of the temple and with the blessings of Bhattarakji

9:30 AM to 12:30 PM - Laghu Siddhachakra Vidhaan

12:30 PM- 2:00 PM - Lunch and cleanup

We request ladies to wear Kesari sarees, and gents to wear kurta-pajama to the temple on both Saturday and Sunday. Please DO NOT wear black clothes.

We are looking for 21 pairs of Indra and Indrani for Siddha Chakra Vidhaan on Sunday. Indras will have an opportunity to participate in carrying Murtis and their Sthapana on the Vedi. We have procured Siddha Chakra Mandal, Haars, and Mukuts from India, and have also ordered additional patras for the Vidhaan.
