6 Malaysian Church Attacked in Allah Feud-->Do not use words Allah for Infidel ??!!
I don't know what is more profoundly sicker. The attempt to stop infidels from using the word allah, or the media's matter of fact approach to reporting such barbarity. Arsonists Muslims in Malaysia struck a fourth church on Saturday as the government tried to soothe tensions arising from a row over the use of the word "Allah" to refer to the Christian God.
Frankly, I have no idea why they would want to.
The unprecedented attacks risk dividing the mainly Muslim nation of 28 million people, which has significant religious minorities, and complicating Prime Minister Najib Razak's plan to win back support from the non-Muslims before the next elections by 2013.
The row, over a court ruling that allowed a Catholic newspaper to use Allah in its Malay-language editions, prompted Muslims to protest at mosques on Friday and sparked arson attacks on three churches that saw one Pentecostalist church gutted.
"We ask the government to make a strong statement to these wrongdoers so we can worship in peace on Sunday," Reverend Hermen Shastri, secretary-general to the Council of Churches Malaysia, told Reuters.
Malaysia is mainly Muslim and Malay but there are substantial ethnic Chinese and Indian minorities who mainly practice Christianity, Buddhism and Hinduism.
I received this note from a reader who lived in Malaysia:
I came from an Islamic country that just burned 3 churches, Malaysia. I can tell you, first hand, that Islam is a very violent religion. And I can also tell you that Muslims will use everything to spread their Islam to all the "Infidels", and when the Infidels refuse to convert to Islam, they will get angry and they will turn to violence. Just too bad that the Europeans (and the Americans) as well don't realize what perils they are facing. Don't wait till it is too late. When Europe and America turn into something like Malaysia, churches will be torn down or be converted into their Islamic mosques. Do yourselves and your offsprings a favor, resist Islam at all cost !

Maybe, if we never facing this situation by our own experience, we might still think positive. Its oke to be positive, but in my opinion, positive is positive, and negative is negative. And the negativism which occured because of fanatism people that is increasing day by day in the face of religion, specially in islam shouldn't be allowed. We have to stop it, however and whatever we will do. And for me (who has own experience as a member of one radicalist group in indonesia), i have to do more real action to fix this problem. Please joint me my friends..

wow, It's open my eyes.
From giving word Allah refer to christian word, it become conflict and arise fanaticism. I think we must wake up silent majority (that's including me).
But still... i don't know what to do. There are so many writing in media and opinion in our mosque(yep, i'm moeslem). I believe in diversity and respect religious freedom. I do believe all religion have a good cause. It have the same principal to keep all human peace and harmony.
How we wake silent majority. How we contribute and prevent this matter in the future? Still unanswered question...to me.

I suggest Arbania n Dibyaguna: First of all v must try to stop the media n our so called moderate rlgs leaders, pltcians etc frm using the wor "moderate". By using this word n cnnctg it wt Muslims n Islam, subconsciously they acknwledge that "Islam is not a moderate religion, Muslims are generally not moderates - hwever there are some who are moderates".
We do not see Christians, Buddhista, Hindus, and others using the wrd "moderate" as commonly as the Muslims. We do hear abt "radical" Hindus, Buddhistas, Christians etc. This implies that those religions r not radical, but there some followers who are.

This is nt a small dffrnce. This reflects our collective consciousness. We r actually spreading fear by the use of the word "moderates"
N, the so called moderates take full advantage of this by enriching themselves wt funds frm US, Europe, as well as some middle eastern countries who are made to believe that they can protect their peoples by funding the so called moderates.

Yes Sir, the repetitive words "moderate" which 'explode' by the media can affect our subsconcious mind...i think psychologiest and neurologiest should have to collaborating each others to stop this situation...we can't only sit and watching the media destroy our next generation, our religiousity, and our unitedness...well, i will try more harder to write many more letter and article to the media...

You suggest we change our thought. Using "Moderate" as key message become negative opinion to public. As solution , we must encounter with this matter and provide better key message in public.
We still can use word "radical" to some news to explain the event from arbania's news. It is need to be accepted that our friend is act in radical way (yep, sometime i agree with their action, but not anymore) and respond not with emotional behavior.
We must describe the fact with appropriate weight between opinion and reality. Accept our friend have conduct radical act make me feel more objective rather than agree because we have same religion. My mind is clear now
We also need to publish how Islam is respond to social problem and behave in common activity. Not a big story. In fact,only show them how we get married, goes to shopping, how we dress, and little thing in daily activity. We show Islam can be blended in every culture like in Indonesia.
