Islamic Center Near the World Trade Center Site
It has become evident from watching and reading U.S. media that the debate raging over the building of a New York City Islamic center near the WTC site is a hugely contentious issue right now. We’d like to bring the issue to PeaceNext, and ask you for your thoughts and comments on this issue. Should the Islamic center be built? Do Americans have a right to be offended if such a building is built so close to the WTC site? If construction is rejected, would such a rejection be an affront to religious liberty? Please provide your viewpoints, and we simply ask that you keep the conversation civil and respectful of all opinions.

There are currently over 1,500 Mosques in America, populated by the very worst representatives of Islam. Not a fact you will hear from most Mosque Boards or Islamic organizations (funded by Saudi money) intent on promoting everything “Muslim” as opposed to promoting everything TRUTH, which is what a BELIEVER, no matter from what religious group, is required to do if upholding their responsibility as a human being. In fact most representatives or leaders professing knowledge of Islam here on Peace Next, are from a carefully filtered group of Muslims allowed into America that are presenting a horrible dry, letter of the law, or false brand of Islam.
The White House and State Department would have us all believe that Al-Qaeda is the biggest threat, and we must commit the lives of our young to battle against the forces of darkness in Afghanistan and other strategic locations – coincidently located upon countries with oil fields. At the same time they have opened the flood gates of "Muslim" immigration to America. Here is the problem; the floodgates are open predominately to Wahabbi Muslims backed by Saudi money and controls. This flood of Wahabbi influence is by design, to keep the very thing that can empower and save common people from the tyrannical rule of globalists, Islam, from reaching America. It is in fact the biggest threat to the American people as it promotes a hatred for both humanity and God. It is strategically designed to divide and conquer America.
The remaining portion of the American immigrant Muslim community that is not Wahabbi centric, are predominately of a category of “Muslims” who typically have cheated their own countrymen to gain enough money to meet the financial requirements to emigrate West, and through the CIA/NSA cultural WAR efforts, such as the American Language Centers, condition or indoctrinate these new emigrants, then hand select advocates, who will best argue Islam is Democracy and Democracy is Islam. Some are also informants, traitors to their own people and governments, rewarded for their good service.
It is not a pleasant picture, but it is the truth and the truth needs to be told so America can defend itself against the real enemy, Satan, and a cabal of globalists’ intent on bringing America to its knees to initiate a one world currency and government – a corporate government, with no soul and no God.
Vetting people to enter America based on moral value and a desire to become part of the true American experience is favorable. We are after all mostly immigrants. But when our government is controlled by international bankers who are solely committed to increasing profits and establishing a one world government at the expense of Americans, we as Americans need to ask ourselves what the real agenda is and what the immigration policies are attempting to accomplish and for whom.
Evil is real and if evil cannot destroy TRUTH, which it never can, the best course of action is to corrupt it. Christianity has been corrupted in America by a select group of preachers’ carefully chosen to deliver a message over corporate controlled television that will weaken and divide the true teachings of Christ. The same with the true teaching of Islam, not able to defeat the truth of Islam, flooding America with the worst representatives so that the good and sincere people are not able to wake up, is the very best alternative.
So no, there should not be a Mosque (read country club / outpost) at ground zero or any other place in America when it is not organic immigration, economic immigration, rather immigration designed to destroy, divide and conquer America.

It is evident that there are deep feelings about the proposed mosque. Many of them, I believe, are based in misunderstanding and unfamiliarity with Islam and Muslims. Many of them, I fear, are intentionally stirred up by those who think they have something to gain by fanning the fires of hatred.
IMHO, a mosque in that location could be a symbol of healing and reconciliation following a tragic event rooted in religious bigotry. Some people, I suspect, see 9/11 as typical, not aberrant, and reconciliation as weakness.
Although people are quick to label "Ground Zero" as "sacred ground" and a "burial site," my suspicion is that they would oppose the building of a mosque anywhere, not just there (witness the demonstrations against proposed mosques in Tennessee, for example).
"Why would they want to build a mosque in my community?" said Jon Steward in a recent piece on The Daily Show. "Because they live there!: is the answer (you can see the full clip here- warning: some crude language).
Fortunately, there are other voices. An interfaith group in Nashville, Tennessee sponsored a peace walk from a church to the local mosque to counter the anti-Muslim efforts in the state.
We've got a long way to go. The very power of the emotions and attitudes that have become associated with the location in New York have contributed both to the rage of the opposition and the potential of hallowing this place as truly "sacred ground," a place of meeting, of understanding, and of appreciation.

I do believe a mosque at this location would be counter-productive. The symbolism is dysfunctional. It seems the underlying intent is to show the true and good face of Islam in a place of mutual concern. I applaud that. Perhaps it would be better to apply the Islamic resources intending to establish the mosque and establish an ecumenical center that spans the social and good concerns of all religions. I think it is better to counter the crime that was committed here with a religious bridge rather than a polarizing outpost. This as good an opportunity for interfaith outreach and cooperation as we are likely ever to see.

What people fail to understand is the intentional selection of indoctrinated (hand selected) immigrant Muslims to enter America by the State Department which is deliberately designed to poison the well. Muslims are fantastic people and make amazing neighbors. We should all be so lucky to live in a community, as was available under Ottoman rule, where the Golden Age of the Jewish people took place. There were fewer than eighty paid government employees at the peak of this amazing society. It is this stellar example of a society that was focused on human rights and a "power to the people" that the tyrants of the world wish to repress and keep from reappearing. If it were understood, tyrants would be exposed and out of business.
So no one is advocating hatred towards Muslims or blaming the pawns who were hand selected for citizenship to present a controlled message that distorts true Islam. But we must ask, “why does the State Department permit so many Wahabbi Muslims to enter America when the Wahabbi way is at the core of the terrorist mentality?” The vast majority of Mosques and Islamic organizations are funded with Wahabbi (Saudi) money. Any government intent on protecting America would not permit this influence to be so widely promoted within America. It is by design, and a goal to destroy America - create a level playing field - so the world government can be implemented. This is the anti-Christ’s army at work.
America had better understand the agenda and get past the finger pointing (manipulation) that says if you do not love the hand selected Muslims we have permitted to enter America you must be a racist. Nonsense. I would welcome real Muslims in America, but they are not interested in coming here. Nor would a Christian be interested in setting up a life in an atheistic country. Sure they may want to do missionary work, but not make it their life and run after an atheist lifestyle.
Immigration should require two sponsors from among the American population who bear much responsibility if that new immigrant commits a wrong. Just as we vet people to enter our house or become members of our family, we should give the same diligence in accepting members into our society, without prejudice, but with much discrimination.

I was simply pointing out the dysfunction you pointed out and was providing the background for that dysfunction. Wahabbi Islam is compared to the Mob controling the message of Catholisim in America -. It is time to speak!!!!!!!!!

I have been working with Imam Feisal Rauf and his wife, Daisy Kahn, for nearly 20 years. His order of Sufism is dedicated to peace and the love of the Divine which can only be achieved by the love of their fellow human beings.
Imam Feisal spends most of his life meeting with Muslim groups worldwide to help guide all true followers of Islam to the path of peace.
One of the great mistakes made by religious groups is to lump all members of another religion into one group and then to "tar" the whole group with the same broad brush.
I believe that it would be a true peace overture to support the building of the mosque and cultural center.
That being said, I, as a Rabbi and as a Ground Zero Chaplin from September 12th through June of 2002, will lend whatever aid I can to see this Islamic Cultural and Educational Center opened and flourishing as a center for peace and rapprochement for people of every faith who live in, work at or hold sacred that area of New York City.

But I must say that the Sufi way is through Darga's, not modeled after the American Mosque (country clubs). I would love to see Darga's Derga's Dargahs, however you may want to spell it, located across America. They are spiritual centers, more akin to an intentional community. They should be lead by Americans for Americans. America will need these communities in the very near future. They will also need spiritual protection for it is the only real protection available to mankind.
However, a dargah, a traditional Sufi center, is not what is being proposed here. I am sorry to have to say, but when, not if, but when this economy completely crashes, Muslims will be targeted and will find it very difficult to survive in the US. Anyone thinking otherwise might want to research a site called www.infowars.com

As near as I can tell you think there is a conspiracy to introduce an Islamic culture, to america, for the expressed purpose of injuring america. You seem to think there is an impurity designed for this purpose. I suppose we need 'spiritual protection' due to this design. I tend toward cynicism and doubt your grand conspiracy. I am confidant in what does protect us spiritually. We alone can injure ourselves spiritually, no injury can be brought against us spiritually except by our consent. Perhaps there is a conspiracy. I do not know.

Was not Christ accused of being negative?
So then you would deny that the majority of the Mosques in America are funded and thus controlled by Saudi money that promotes the hateful Wahabbi teachings. Do you not think that the State Department, ICE, Homeland Security, USIS and their billion dollar budgets are not aware of this imbalance of Wahabbi Islam in America?
I worked at ALC, and even still today, the emphasis on teaching American culture is clear. After 12 plus levels of American cultural education, you may be selected for entrance into America. Generally speaking (some fall through the cracks), there are two groups of Muslims PERMITTED in America. Either staunch hateful Wahabbi's or Muslims indoctrinated into selling the idea that Islam ids Democracy and Democracy is Islam - a bunch of brain washed fools, much like the Indians who betrayed their own people to be like the white man. This is not hateful or conspiratory, labels people always turning to when they cannot argue the facts.
If the State Department were hand picking Mob members to enter America who then took it upon themselves as a cover for their criminal activity to build cathedrals and represent (hide behind) them, while presenting themselves as the Catholic authority in America, would it be hateful for real Catholics to object to that misrepresentation? Of course not.
Look at Dar Al-Islam out in Abiquiu New Mexico. It was started by a good intentioned American Muslim, funded by Wahabbi money that soon took control of the board, and has now been cannibalized to support a few very self serving individuals making fat salaries. There are a total of less than 23 days of activities each year. Nothing more than a front, for their lavish lifestyles. Dar Al-Islam has gone from owning a beautiful lodge, farmland, 9000 acres, down to an almost unused 3000 acres of land. I call that a crime. Speaking up about it does not make me a conspirator or a racist. I am living overseas for eight years and prefer to live amongst people from other cultures, Muslim cultures - now seriously considering returning, which should make many people happy. But it will not shut me up!
I would encourage anyone with half a mind to review the information at www.infowars.com to see just how bad things really are. Proposals to put lithium in the water as they do poisonous fluoride, to keep the masses from revolting, are on the table as we speak and have already been tested in some areas. That information is supported by stacks of studies and research and it is very real. Americans must know they are going to be in for a real hard time. Muslims, if we are concerned about them, better wake up and listen. Those that are being polite and politically correct will not save you. I am not angry with my immigrant Muslim brothers and sisters; for the most part they are pawns in this plan to destroy the world economies so that out of that dust a new one world currency, already publically announced by the UN, can be brought forward. Just because you do not hear about this in the corporate controlled media owned by the military contractors, does not mean it is not correct.
If you want the world controlled by International bankers, join their cause, but try not to remain ignorant. Kissinger has been calling for a solution for the threat of a rapidly growing world population for over twenty-five years. There are many papers available if you take the time to look. They have found a solution. Why do you think cancer is off the charts, organ failure off the charts, mental illness exploding, and depression running wild? Think people, you are being slow killed - exterminated. Not in gas chambers, but from your packaged food, GMO crops, vaccines, air and water.

God does not change a people's situation until they first work to change it themselves. The Truth needs many advocates. Believers must be defenders of the Truth. But one first must conquer their own ego before finding and able to defend that Truth. We need Jews, Christians, and Muslims all standing up for the Truth. Otherwise you get (we have gotten) the leaders we all deserve.
