Yes, indeed! "Simplicity Is the way to God." It is complete spiritual delusion to have any sort of pride and arrogance when approaching The Lord. Who do we think we are!!!! As the Master rightly taught us, "Become again as a child and you will be fit to receive The Kingdom." It is spiritual humility, certainly not spiritual pride, that will bring us back home into mystic union with The Lord. You only need to achieve one simple and sincere thing to achieve mystic union with The Lord... LOVE for Him and His All, as plainly declared in the Two Great Commandments of Life. All else, and all other spiritual blessings will quite easily and "simply" flow from That (connection with God).

I agree with you, our day fight - actually night fight - today is the day to know what to do and not. What we write, talk, advice to follow. Let us try.
Yes, Cristen, you are correct, the simplest and most obvious things about life, reality and God, we completely miss, even if it were to stare us blatantly in the face. After many years of inquirey, I came to a very simple and profound realization a few years ago about truth, put in the shortest, most simplest and obvious way for accurate appreciation and understanding...
"The only time we need to ask a question is when we do not know what is true. Truth is what is real, actual and So." -- Spencer Perdriau
Funny Cristen, but I think you are getting a little eager and ahead of yourself about me here and our exchanges. Just because I state that Truth simply means what is "real/actual/so", are you really trying to catch me up here and pin upon me that I know all truth about all things??? If so, please, very quickly, take back your comment above, as you have not understood my quote properly at all. I was simply stating the nature "of" truth itself in principle, not truth "about" all things as they "really-actually" are. I certainly do not know all true "real-actual" things and secrets about you now, do I? No of course not. But God very much does, even better than you even know yourself, immediately accumulated here and now, to say nothing of your eternal life to come. That is The Truth I speak of - His Truth, not mine. There is no such thing as personal truth, only our take and perception (here and now) of it is personal. Anyone who claims they know all "actual" truth about all things is completely-utterly deluding themself and totally spiritually insane. Only God knows all things "Truly" as they all are, known and unknown - past, present, future - all as One. I certainly do not know the truth about all things, I humbly and reverently rest in the care of God to look after me and all of us in His all ever-knowing rightful care, eternally better than I ever could. I do however appreciate and understand what the "quality" of truth is. Further, personal "seeing" is perception, not truth. Personal perception colours truth, either positively or negatively. There is always something knew to learn, discover and experience along the "ETERNAL" road of life. The diffence between you and me, it seems here at the moment, is that I am simply happy and content just knowing there actually is a God of us all. I do not remotely desire to attain all wisdom and knowing for myself, for I know very well that in finding God first, all else flows from that, simply and gently when properly required, not only for us, but for all. We don't need to attain all "knowing" to come into the fullness of God, Cristen. No, definitely not, nor do we need to work it all out to become spiritually free and liberated. We only need to know God. What did the Master rightfully teach us - "Seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things shall be added on to you." But when I do"get" something, I don't leave it there. I continue on for the next. When something is really understood about life, it goes far beyond our immediate/personal stuff. Truth does not belong to us when we understand, "get it". Rather, we simply rest in and surrender to That Greater Always Knowing Principle of all. I am very content and at peace where I am at in life. Although I do my bit in the world, I place my full faith and life in the greater care of God. If I were to die tomorrow, I would die a very happy and content man with what God has graced me with.
I am always happy to share with you, Cristen.

PS: I don't really play games to see who can stump another. I'm not into that. I am not here to catch you out, nor I hope you with I. I always like to share in a unity of acceptance, equality and further deeper understanding for all to appreciate, to take the time and care to do that..
PPS: About questioning, I have just addressed this for you in my post just put up. Sent to you with compassion and understanding.
No sorry Spencer Perdriau when come to HIM im very simple..think you like to think all are like you haha..and you understand us all
that why i say im very simple and pure when come to HIM...like a child...Jesus is right..so as alot others..but do you really understand, ?Whether are we fit to go to kingdom of God, leave it to God...if i have a choice, i prefer to go to HIM then to HIS kingdom..if HE think i should be down here..i would happily accept..how about you..are you simple enough when come to HIM...enlighten me with your ' child '
GPDC, I am not one for playing spiritual "ego" games or competitions about who is more enlightened and esotericly knowing than another, even if you are. It is not in my mystic nature. What I will tell you, is to be a little more humble here in your exchanges with us. We "all" were once young aspiring spiritual "whipper-snappers" totally questioning everything and wanting to discover the true mysteries/answers about life, reality and God - even you GDPC.
To become as a child to receive God, "simply" means to be humble (innocent) and "open" before Him and His Creation.
Mystic Blessings to you =
