That's a deep question to explore Ron.

In a nutshell, I think the greatest achievement in life would be to live completely in the presence of God. For 24 years I was enabled by grace to stand on the boundary of that realization and recognition, and how supremely beautiful it was. If everyone could experience the infinite sense of divine love, even peripherally, then surely the world would be a better place.

Your book gives a good sense that there have been many people who have entered the circle of paradise and garnered wisdom to share; and you yourself give out many nuggets.

That is simple and obvious for me...

Having my three non-dual experience of Mystic Union at the ripened age of 23 in 1996.

So yes, I have reached it... more than once. There is no limit to how many times we can be touched by God.

I dearly & Lovingly wish this divine mystical experience of union with God & His All to grace and bless everyone.

However, we only need it once in our life (no matter how brief)

and our life is forever after transformed for the better

in complete honour and love of The Lord & His All

~ Amen ~

I am puzzled as to what might be the greatest achievement for all people. That being said the truth is I do not believe in achievement, at least not spiritually. The notion of achievement implies merit. It implies that I can own something by having had earned it. In matters of gross temporal reality there is some merit to this sense of ownership but it is as a foundation where we take the gifts we have and assemble them to build what presents value. The value exists and we simply make a place for it to manifest itself. The more we think that we have earned the grace of true value the less we have done so. The foundation of which I write can be compared to the lower three chakra's. When we dwell there we have ownership and have yet to grow. When we let go of this childish ownership we bloom and blossom and divinity is realized.

It may seem as if I am trifling over semantics, but I think not. Should we realize enlightenment it is, I think, by letting go of the sense of achievement and simply accepting. Acceptance being the spirit of understanding. Love, the spirit of compassion, is what binds the three lower chakra's to the 5th, 6th and 7th chakra's. Grace, the spirit of truth, is the fulfillment of the absence of achievement. I think if we are animated by these three spirits we realize the completion of self and walk with God. In this way that which is of true value is known in our world but I would not call it an achievement.

I think the gentle mystic of the Beatles, George Harrison, summed it up best on his death-bed...

"The Greatest Achievement of a human being, above all other things in Life, is to Realize God."

Very well said, Sir.

When you Google "the greatest achievement in life" there are more than 100,000 listings. What does it mean for you personally and, from your perspective, for humanity? The answers may vary, somewhat, for each of the seven billion people on Earth.
