The Nature of Consciousness and Related Issues

Up until now it seemed ok to raise some of the issues I posted here but in the last couple of days I no longer feel comfortable to do that.  It seems that which is for my growth is also for my pruning.  My apologies friends.

Where did you post your issues, Hadrian? I dont know what you are referring to, having just joined the website myself. I think there is generally a lack of momentum as yet - people are new, finding their way around. There is a lot of stuff without any response. Perhaps it is just 'early days'? Maybe better things to come.

I would like to add that this is a conversation I would be interested in as well. As a Christian Scientist, I am interested to learn what others think about the role of consciousness as it relates to the body. Also, I'm interested in hearing what others have to say about whether there is such a thing as a divine consciousness. This is my own take on God - that God is that divine consciousness, and that's the source by which humans experience harmony and healing. I am looking for others' experiences and means of expressing these concepts.

 

The title of this forum is great, so I hope others find their way to the discussion.
