All people are deceived in their youth, this is an inevitablity.
Just as information is withheld from you now, information was withheld from us when we were much younger.
As for blaming youth...
Youths are no more prone to error than adults, but adults often prefer not to rerpimand each other in front of children because this undermines their ability to pretend they are good authority figures.
So when we are young, it often seems as if adults present a solid front against kids.
Kids also get the blame because many weak adults who are afraid to vent their issues among their peers project their sense of anger, shame and guilt upon kids because they perceive them as weaker, more vulnerable. By projecting their own anger, guilt and shame onto kids weak adults often find faults with kids unfairly.
The best solution might be to teach all children critical thinking skills at an early age and to give them permission to ask questions that we may find difficult to answer honestly at times.
We should nonetheless answer all kids questions honestly, to the best of our abilities.
The problem with this solution is that most adults really don't know all of the right answers, but most adults are often very good at faking it.
The reason many adults do not possess the truth is because the deceptions perpetrated upon them in their own childhoods were never adequately challenged. They honestly believe a lot of garbage that disables them and consequently may also disable their children from effectively addressing all the problems in our world and working together to solve them.
The bottom line is that we cannot control the quality of all the information we receive, all we can do is learn to be rationally critical enough to see through the shit to the truth.
