i am looking forward to meeting other campaigners who are interested in working in UK on Global Poverty
.Oxfam seems to be following in the steps of Jubilee Debt Campaign with a meeting in Birmingham soon.
Anyone spotted interest amongst other groups who want to work acrooss all faith communities in other parts of the UK?

Hi everyone.

I haven't been here in ages! I was just wondering if any of you knew of any job opportunities in interfaith in the UK? I'm graduating this year, and there are very few things I'd really like to do as much as meaningful engagement in interfaith. So if anyone's got any ideas, please do tell me!

love,
n.

audrey

you have hit the nail on the head. justice which is the underlying tool for peace and coexistence. i would be very interested to know more about the work in birmingham. how can we publicise this plus how can we set up models in other towns?

In Birmingham we have been fortunate enough to have a faith leaders group who meet regularly and have encouraged the employment of worker to facilitate meetings on climate change www.faithandclimatechange.org. When Birmingham became a fairtrade city we also gained support from the leaders group. Jubilee Debt Campaign is now seeking funds to employ a worker to raise awareness on Global poverty, Seeking Justice. It is justice which is at the core of these "problems"
I agree assylum, refugee status all are part of the mix we call social justice
