Welcome to Interfaithing

Our objective is to unite and grow the global interfaith community while promoting friendship, respect, and kindness between all of mankind. We affirm that while the world’s religions may differ in their beliefs and traditions, they are all connected by a common set of morals and values known as the Golden Rule. We believe that the biggest cause of tension between the faiths is a lack of understanding about the religious other.

We believe that best way to create a pluralistic world, and put religious/secular misconceptions to rest is to learn about each other from each other. To achieve this goal, we have built a large social network of interfaith groups, ministers, leaders, and people just like you, making it easier than ever to connect, share, and grow the global interfaith community.

Get in on the fun and excitement and join us!

For those looking for "interfaith as a spiritual expression" may I suggest that we come together under the banner of the "World Council of Interfaith Communities."  Each country has a representative and for us in the USA it is the Council of Interfaith Communities of the USA.  "Interfaithing" would qualify as a transnational member to WCIC.  There is also a single spiritual order to support clergy and lay workers of "inclusive theology, spirituality and consciousness" called the Order of Universal Interfaith (OUnI).  All of these structures do ecclesiastic support work for clergy and lay folks wanting recognition for this spiritual expression.  I look forward to hearing about the thoughts and work of others.

We are the founders to www.motherstrust.org which became a pilot to Universities and Hospitals. Our 9 Month Certification Course; "Explore the Sacred Ways of the World's Great Wisdom Traditions" opened doors to us in hospitals, schools, social services, crisis and linked us to the All faith's Seminary in New York where we became ordained interfaith ministers in addition to our 12 years of discipline and study as monastics; where many of us became legal advocates serving one world in sacred ways. We were joined by many other leaders of different faith traditions, yet what we have in common is the 9 month Certification Course and the Interfaith Seminary. Made a very large change in our life's and ways we serve. We are being the change we want to see. The trustees have been together for 38 years and interfaith study, dialogue and service has been worth every day of our life's in our efforts to come closer to understanding, justice, compassionate care, peace and forgiveness.

Hello everybody, I'm new here on Peace Next and I'm trying to figure out how this website works. I am looking for people, mostly from Central Europe, who could provide information on religious freedom in their countries.

According to the UN, over 50 million girls in India are missing: having been aborted, killed, or neglected to death simply because they are female. In some regions, no baby girl has survived in years. Help us make a difference.

Can We bring Interfaithing to a next way of being and thinking? How about including

Theists and Non-Theists and Others.God,Gods,Goddess,Goddess's,Peoples.

Now let Us sit in a circle around a warm fire and tell our stories.

Each of Us has a story to share. We are All human beings with needs.Food,clothing,shelter.Education begins in the circle.

Looking around the Circle I see Peoples. There are Red,yellow, black, white and green Peoples.

There is food and drink provided by each. Also musical instruments supplied by each and some brought more than 1 in case someone forgot theirs.

We use a talking stick.Person holding the stick talks. If,you want to talk wait for the stick to be passed to you.

I am now passing the talking stick to You.

Richard! "Come walk with me if only a short distance." Thanks for writing that, that's very nice and it motivated me by reading it. I'm glad you are still Interfaithing! How is the blog talk radio going? If you are going to do another one, let me know and I will tune in.

I'm currently working on getting some people together to use the Interfaithing site towards something in the interfaith world. Wish me luck! I'm glad I stopped by, I miss this site PeaceNext. Great place. Take care Richard!
