Hey! Very excited to see your post and even more so that you are in the Bay Area. So beautiful there.
First, I recommend spreading your ideas by word of mouth, see if there are others who would like to join you. Then, have flyers approved by your high school and take to the hall ways. Establish a set date for your first meeting and find satisfaction whether it be 3 or 18 students that attend. Our Interfaith club started with just 5 people but it wasn't long before it snow balled into something greater.
At your meetings, select a topic related to religion/pluralism and allow members (if they wish) to share their creed/beliefs with the group. We conduct our meetings in a large circle so we can all see one another, and basically just conduct an open discuss the entire time.
Suggested topics;
Show & Tell - each member brings in an item that has religious/spiritual significance (a book, scripture, rosary, photograph, charm..etc) and shares it with the group.
Religion & growing up - how were you raised?
Religious Traditions
Overview of the world religions
Religion Conflict
I wish you the best =D
