Anti-religious sentiment in the media

I am increasingly disturbed by the kind of anti-religious invective that finds its way into main stream media these days. It seems that anyone with a religious inclination is portrayed as fanatical or is shown in some way to be psychologically impaired. Is this happening elsewhere in the world or just where I live?

Yes, my friend. Through the help of this network let us join hands as religious people of the world, even if in different parts of it. I write to you from Canada. Where I live there is a sizable Pakistani community. Receiving your reply encourages me to talk things over with some of its members. How else shall we proceed with practical initiatives?

I agree with you, it is troublesome when i think the trend feels like it is moving towards a majority population which believes there is no god.

Humanity for 25,000 years has designed and portrayed a variety of image and form to appease and please the Gods.  Some of the most beautiful buildings, paintings, music, etc. has been driven by the creative efforts of many religions around the world. Science /Theology debates have so much to offer, why do so many people believe they can live without the idea of something greater than themselves at work here with all of us. Look around and be at peace. We do not get to keep and control the one life we have, in the end we get death, BUT ah, what life there is to be witnessed and to love. Within and without.............Be still and know life is a gift and it is eternal, it stems

form something greater than "I".
