Thank you for starting this group. Although I live about three hours north of the city I have many ties there and welcome the opportunity to participate in efforts of peace there.

Hi Rosalee.
Thanks for creating this group. While the worldwide work is of great importance, it's good to check in with our neighbors, as well. There are a great number of us in the NY area spreading interfaith peace. As the co-director of The New Seminary for Interfaith Studies, it's my priviledge to ordain Interfaith Ministers every year that go out into all of our neighborhoods to spread the message of peace. Our graduares know that the path to interfaith peace is to ba able to meet people of different religions in the space where they come from with knowledge and respect. That allows for the opening of dialogues from the mind set of "Never instead of, always in addition to" which is the motto of our seminary.
