According to the UN, over 50 million girls in India are missing: having been aborted, killed, or neglected to death simply because they are female. In some regions, no baby girl has survived in years. Help us make a difference.

In her book Women that Run with the Wolves, Clarissa Pinkola Estes shared a dream she had:

"I was telling stories and felt someone patting on my foot in encouragement. I looked down and saw that I was standing on the shoulders of an old woman who was steadying my ankles and smiling up at me.

I said to her, "No, no, come stand on my shoulders for you are old and I am young."

"No, no," she insisted "this is the way it is supposed to be."

I saw that she stood on the shoulders of a woman far older than she, who stood on the shoulders of a woman even older, who stood on the shoulders of a woman in robes, who stood on the shoulders of another soul, who stood on the shoulders..."

Thanks Cheen for posting the question.

What is important to you as a mentor or mentee?

Greetings, Molly.  Would you please clarify your last comment for me?  Are you querying the group about energy support among ourselves, or mentoring as an exchange of energy between the mentor and the mentee?  Thanks!

we want to be in balance, how look at mentoring as an energy exchange?

Granmo mentoring would include info about environmental health, birth choices, how it is all related to how we treat the earth. What we do to the Earth, we actually embody ourselves and pass onto our children and grandchildren.
