Hey Sabina! I apologize for the belated response, I have been quite busy this past month. Anyway, I can see what you are saying regarding the similarity between Sufi thought and my thought.   However, I am unsure if Sufis do this, but I…

Hi Aaron, thanks for your reply. Yes indeed, like yourself, I have a deep understanding and love of all our world's "proper" religious faiths, but as attractive as it is to mix and match worship in our modern times, I still live…

I understand what you are saying Spencer. However, we each are called to believe in a certain way or certain ways, some are called to be Jewish, others to be Christian, or Muslim, or Buddhist, or Pagan, etc. But, there also are those of us who are…

Multi-mixing religions in devotional worship is unnecessary and superfluous. You only need to follow one true faith reverently, devoutly and sincerely (the one that rings "most true" to your heart/being/soul), and if you follow it…

Thank you so much for sending the link you had. It really helped me realize to be more confident about how I believe and practice, rather than being afraid to reveal my beliefs to people out of fear of persecution.   Also, the goals of The…

New Religion   http://www.peacebestill.net/index.html There is an irrevocable, unconditional norm for healing our spiritual selves, in our families, communities, nations, and religions. In particular, there is need right now for the spiritual…

Hello, my name is Aaron. I am a 16 year old currently residing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the United States. Ever since I was 12 years old, religious unity, peace, and tolerance has been a huge cause I follow. I currently have my own religious groups I have locally started among teens of many religions, spanning from Abrahamic Religions to Pagan, Daoic, Dharmic, and other religions. I do to this day believe I was Divinely Inspired to support this cause with what I have done, and will continue to do so for as long as I live.

Are all Your Religions Equally Important to You?

Posted on August 15, 2011 at 10:28pm 0 Comments

Oh yes, absolutely. My religions are equally valid and important to me. Not one religion is more important or more true than another. I am a religious pluralist, meaning I believe in many equally valid faiths.

So yes, they most certainly are equally important to me.

Do You Really Practice and Believe in Over 30 Religions?

Posted on August 15, 2011 at 10:26pm 5 Comments

Yes I do. I use prayer from all the religions in my daily life, I have many of their Holy Texts, such as the Bible, Qur'an, Book of Shadows, Tao Te Ching, and more. I use rituals in my prayers and follow the holidays of these religions, to the best I can. Most of my family though does not know of my Eclectic ways, and thus I must practice in secret.

I celebrate everything from Easter, to Samhain, to Ostara, to Hanukkah, and more.

So my answer simply is,…

So Aaron, are you a Monotheist or Polytheist?

Posted on August 15, 2011 at 10:22pm 0 Comments

I have been asked this many times as well. Here is my answer: Neither. I am what you call a Monist, I believe that many things are of one source, that all stem from one thing.

Therefore, when I talk about the Divine, I use many words and names to express the Divine. The specific names I use refer to the Gods of the religions I believe in.

So, when I discuss the Divine, I say anything such as God, Goddess, Father, Mother, The Gods, The Goddesses, Jesus, Zeus,…

The Ways of the Gods: The Divine Puzzle

Posted on August 15, 2011 at 10:18pm 3 Comments

Many have asked me before what had ever caused me to come to believe in over 30 world religions, and how being Eclectic helps me know who I am, who God is, and why I practice the way I do.

I believe that my Eclecticism was Divinely given to me, honestly. It all began with what I believe to be a Divine Dream I had a few years ago, where I had been in a beautiful field, with white shores, grassy meadows, a deep blue sky, and peace and quiet. As I looked around this field, a…
