- Alison Avigayil Ramer is a writer, peace journalist and communications consultant that specializes in conflict-resolution reporting and using new media to organize peaceful political dialogue and engagement.
In addition to The Huffington Post, her writing and press work has been published by The Associated Press, The Boston Globe, The Guardian, Telegraph, Haaretz and The Jerusalem Post on CNN, BBC Radio and National Public Radio, as well as new media sources like Global Voices, Jewlicious and her blog, AlisonRamer.com.
Originally from Seattle, Alison holds a B.A. in Politics and Jewish Studies from Mount Holyoke College. As a young, tech-savvy organizer, she lectured about technology and grassroots organizing at Boston University, Tufts University and MIT and was profiled in The Boston Globe and Utne Reader.
