In Preparation for the Parliament

Posted on November 16, 2009 at 9:50am 4 Comments

What have people been reading/watching/surfing in preparation for the Parliament? The film "Rabbit-Proof Fence" was terrific. Diana Eck's books are very good, but obviously American-oriented. Can anyone recommend a good read on Paganism?

Hi Brenda. Sorry for the slow reply. I've been away.

It would be wonderful if churches united in the States. What is it like in the United States for Protestant Churches?

The Uniting Church is a union of the Methodists, Congregationalists and Presbyterian churches and has a website which is www.uca.org.au I think churches have united in Canada and India and in many nations.

Love to keep in touch and know more about you

Hi Brenda
Thanks for the compliment. What a great day it was.
I spent the days following the conference camping on a vast dry lake bed in the north west of Victoria meditating on all that I experienced at the conference and sharing with friends. We read the Hindu declaration on climate change and are developing art projects that reflect what's happening in our part of the world, and indeed everywhere else as well.
I was wondering, did you attend my talk at the Parliament called 'Let's Shake' about art and reconciliation?
Regards

Damian
