I have come to PeaceNext looking for:: interreligious advocacy, intrareligious reflection, friendship

I am inspired by:: My new ministers, Michael Brown and Jim Parrish, as well as all those I have met at this church. My ACIM leaders Mary Tantan and Deb Brown and all my friends at ACIM.

My favorite spiritual places:: I love the ocean, and the woods by our home in Il.

Interreligious causes I care about:: ACIM and The World Parliament of Religions

About Me:: I was a Ministers wife in a very conservative Christian faith, and began to be troubled about divisions, and the idea of Hell. I was wrong in believing I could change the thinking of my fellow christians, and was told my beliefs were not accepted there. Hurtful, but inevitable.

I hope not all segments of it now still deal with other faiths the way they did when I was being raised, but I'm not certain. I'm willing to listen to ANYone of ANY faith, but that is not how I was raised to believe. And, in my listening, I'm not trying to come up with a way to convert the other person to my faith or to my belief system.
