I have been trying to understand this word because I find it referenced a lot in my readings.  I keep finding descriptions like 'unexpressed' or 'unmanifest'.  Does this mean that the word avyaktha…Continue

Profile Information

Religion / Faith
I don't define myself by any particular religion or spiritual belief.
I have attended the Parliament of Religions:
Never
Local Religious Community / Interfaith Affiliation:
None yet. I am still looking for a group that I would feel comfortable in joining and/or creating.
Website:
http://www.newtransformations.wordpress.com
I have come to PeaceNext looking for:
networking, interreligious advocacy, interreligious exploration, friendship
I am inspired by:
Amit Goswami, Eckhart Tolle, Depak Chopra, and Dean Radin, to name some authors. I am also inspired by every religious doctrine I have read, although normally only in parts. Most importantly, I find inspiration in the evidence of growth in myself and in those I love.
My favorite spiritual places:
Any area that is natural seems to have the most spiritual significance, although I am now finding that any place can be spiritual. It is inside of us as well as surrounding us. My home is also a favorite spiritual place of mine.
Interreligious causes I care about:
I don't really know about them yet, which is a big reason I am interested in this site.
Changes I am working toward in my community:
I am starting an 'Interreligious Spirituality' night in our local bookstore, where people of different religious or spiriutal backgrounds will come together and share ideas and beliefs.
About Me:
I am a 30 year old aspiring author of the self-improvement/new age genre. I am looking for networking and relationships with people who believe in the benefits of interreligious collaboration. I am seeking out connections with those who are seeking truth, freedom, and growth over pre-existing beliefs.
