You Never Know, You Could Be The Teacher

So, I’m sitting in Starbucks, way in the corner, my hair is mussed. I’m wearing old jeans with paint on them and some garden shoes. I really don’t feel like facing the world today. It’s been a tough week. I want to write, but a blank screen sits in front of me. I feel drained. I haven’t really nurtured myself lately, and it’s catching up with me. My don’t-bother-me energy is oozing out of me. It’s working. No one sits within a table of me.

There’s a lady across the way, her notebook… Continue

Can I Buy Happiness?

Posted on May 10, 2011 at 10:21am 3 Comments

Recently I began thinking about the relationship between money and happiness.  I know what it’s like to not have money, and I know what it’s like to have enough money.  Enough money to me, means having everything that makes me feel secure, plus extras.

When I didn’t have money, it was all I could think about.  Now that I have…

You Could Be Your Own Speedbump

Posted on May 7, 2011 at 1:39am 1 Comment

When we get ourselves out of our own way, we awaken to the truth of our Divinity.  The first step in doing this, is to recognize that you may be the bump in the road that’s slowing you down.   Take time out to carefully and honestly consider this.

To get out of your own way, means to stop self-defeating behaviors.  Know that you can do anything you want, but you may not get everything you want.  Sometimes we get in our own…

Who’s Wrinkles are Those?!

Posted on May 7, 2011 at 1:38am 0 Comments

Stopped at a stoplight, I looked in the rearview mirror.  I had a hard time believing what I was seeing.  Are the lines under my eyes really that deep?  Or did some eye makeup get into my fine lines, causing them to be more apparent?  I wiped under each eye to remove the makeup.  I looked into the mirror to reasses.  Nope.  The lines were still there.  “Well, it’s done”, I thought to myself.  “My youthful face is gone.”  I looked into the mirror just as the light…

Thank you for your friendship. I am new here, and still I do not know how it works. English is not my mother language,it is Spanish, so it is not that easy for me to write in English. I do understand the beauty and joy that is to find this Truth hidden in all religions, I love it. It is like talking about the Beloved from different points of view.
