I am inspired by: the deep connections that can happen between people, whatever their faith/s, when we focus on what is common in our experience of the Divine in our lives; the deep understanding that can come when we approach our differences with open hearts and curious minds.
My favorite spiritual places:
The nearest tree. Castlerigg stone circle in Cumbria, England. Carlisle cathedral.
Interreligious causes I care about:
Environment; women's rights are human rights; acknowledgement and full acceptance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in religions; indigenous people's rights.
Changes I am working toward in my community:
Elinor lives in the country with her partner, their dogs, a wind turbine and a large wood shed. She is a poet, a student, a social researcher, an Interfaith Minister, a Witch, a Priestess, a gluten- and dairy-free baker, a community activist, a magical crafter and an accidental comedian. She loves writing, teaching, learning, creating, connecting and chocolate.
