Good morning,  finally getting back writting about this project. “The Dialogue Project” is potentially a teaching tool. The format addresses two themes; the planet earth we live on and the spirit of humankind on it. People of all religions know far too little about one another; the installation
promotes discussion about our religious beliefs and practiced traditions that
we share in common. It aims to provide orientation and to challenge us to think
again about the importance of the great religions, the master teachers and
philosophers that have had a lasting effect on humankind. The installation,
because it is a visual experience, suggests a gentle approach and respect for
everyone’s belief system.

I am leaving for a Sufi Camp in the Ozarks early Oct. 7. So the only dates of those you mention that are possible for me are Oct. 5 & 6. As I mentioned, my work is not exclusively with women. Some of the Sufi gatherings have women's sessions that are very powerful.

I believe in the power of prayer. The dances are really a form of meditation or prayer and they are very important to my spiritual practice.

I am also deeply convinced that we must act towards creating a better world with respect for all people. I am deeply distressed with the violent, hate-mongering rhetoric in our public places today. Peaceful people need to speak up.

Erika. I just noticed your message. I do have a strong practice of prayer but I simply call it life. I think that if that is not prayer then there no such thing. I live a life of singular confidence and devotion, to God. I am a secularist and think that God represents Gods-self without an intermediary. That includes sacred texts, religion or religious persons. I am confident in God alone. Everything alludes to God, to what is true. That includes sacred texts, religion and religious persons. I am a mystic and my experience of God is empirical. Being mystic is not a choice I get to make. It is inescapable, the most dominant feature in my life. My choice has always been; what to do about it.

When I eat I take a moment to be thankful for the people and resources that make it possible. If I have a concern for someone in crisis I am thoughtful. I believe Ascendant Beings and Angels act as intermediaries in all things human. I share my concerns with them. I do not pray in any traditional sense, that I know of, but I am thoughtful in this way. My habit is certainly applicable to any human concern and that includes the concerns of women.

I am always interested in promoting what is best, because I believe in that. If you think we can work together for what is best, seems best, might be best, I am willing to explore that. If my dance with best seems vague it is because what is best is always fluid never fixed. It is what keeps us from falling into the valueless pit of being right.
