September 17, 2010 from 12pm to 1:30pm
Chicago’s 32nd annual Peace Day Celebration will be an experience of joy and unity as Chicago sends peace to the world. The celebration will feature the World Peace Flag Ceremony, a colorful procession of the world’s flags carried by members of the Chicago Consular Corps, representatives of ethnic and cultural institutions, students, and volunteers. Voices will fill the Plaza as everyone joins in sending wishes, thoughts or prayers for peace to each country of the world.
