I am inspired by:: Stories from all over the world that open my heart to everyone and everything; colorful sunrises and starry skies; acts of unexpected kindness and intelligence; the poetry of Tagore and Rumi, the Songs of Milarepa and Charles Wesley, music of Sibelius and Jai Uttal,

My favorite spiritual places:: Bhutan, Australian desert, Hawaii, New Mexico

Interreligious causes I care about:: Inter-faith and cross-cultural understanding, communications media.

We bring in the New Year with thoughts of peace, a guided meditation, and prayers and blessings for peace from different faith traditions. People all over the world join us in reading the Universal Peace Covenant at midnight. This is a document that emerged from our participation in the 1993 parliament in Chicago.
