I was unable to find the books you suggested in an on-line search.  Would you kindly give me either the exact titles or authors for them?  Am skimming through the search results on-line in the meantime. 

Also, do you know anyone who is working with these energies on a more global scale, e.g., is there any research or work with an aura for the Earth?  I know several people who do larger scale Reiki work on specific locations and of course, there is Dr. Emoto's work with prayer for water, but I'm wondering what else is available. 

I very much want to expand my efforts to community and global levels where I can, both with energy work and mediation/justice work.

Hi Grigori,

Gratitude for your study suggestions!  I will look into those.  My formal study of energy-based systems is rather sporadic, but I became familiar with it as a young woman in college when I realized that there were times when I could enter into myself or sometimes just give a friend a hug and "feel" that the person had suffered a physical injury.  My shock came the day that I learned that I could actually "see" the injury.  I didn't have anyone at the time who could walk me through using this gift, so I ended up shutting down.  I suspect that with proper guidance, I could revive the gift.  I've just begun my study to be attuned to Reiki and am doing some initial reading.  Over the years, I've done various types of chakra work and definitely noticed an energy-colour theme in dreams at times.  I would love to go deeper into that topic.  Have had a sporadic yoga practice as well which I've just begun to re-incorporate into my life.

The lecture I attended on chakra work in family legal disputes was part of a larger lecture which included "collaborative law" (where parents & attorneys work as a team to resolve all issues without bringing them into Court), mediation, "parent coordination" (mediation just on agreements which relate to the children), using and teaching four-quadrants subjective/objective communication with the parents, mirroring and teaching non-violent communication to the parents, and the chakra work.  In the latter, the attorneys help the parents identify and address lower chakra concerns (safety, loss of "power", etc.), knowing that until they can communicate and address those concerns, they can't enter into the heart chakra where they can open to communicating from their love of their children to negotiate what would be in their children's best interests.  Am currently studying all these approaches in my work.
