"I love your comments. Sonia, what a way to start your career in music! Oh to really hear the music of the spheres....
I belong to a choir, and there is great joy in this. Most of the music is quite poppy though, I should really love to tackle some…"
"From what I have heard of the great teachings, that is exactly what music is. It can also be aligned with other arts, such as architecture: this also is to do with number and proportion, and any painting that is harmonious and beautiful will be seen…"
"Dear Shree CKP Swamiji, Thank you for all that interesting information on the crystal singing bowls: how very beautiful they must be!
I knew when I heard the different bowls singing that it was imperative to have the right bowl and vibration for…"
"Wendy, I haven't connected with any really: we were offered some by a friend who had just come back from Korea or Japan, and we listened many times to them but couldn't decide on the one that would be most beneficial.
How amazing that you…"
"Thank you, Shree CKP Swamiji, that is very interesting. I used to listen to Indian ragas and talas, in private settings as well as big concerts (Ravi Shankar and Ali Akhbar Khan and others). It seemed to me the music was a living entity, improvised…"
"This is excellent news! I was very lucky to see Desmond Tutu in London last week. He was the guest speaker in a lecture for the Forgiveness Project, and there we heard that he would be speaking live to the Chicago audience.
I also belong to the…"
"Knowing is a much deeper reality than letting the discursive mind run over life's problems. In learning to sink deeper into stillness we can experience consciousness and so much possibility, all in the present. Which is what Louise was…"
"Yes, Doug, I can see the truth in what you say: so beautifully put. At one time I was practising such conscious meditation but as life evolved this slipped to the side as an exercise, though never really disappeared: now you are reminding me that we…"
"Greetings to all! There are some wonderful comments and questions on here. The blessing suggested is an excellent one and I shall follow that. I used to know someone who made it his task every day to make three people smile every day. Usually you…"
Blessings aim is to model new ways of shared experience that honors the uniqueness of each spiritual path while celebrating both our unity and our diversity. In doing so we are a true Blessing to each other and the world.
People who spread peace
People who get events like the Parliament of Religions together so that many can meet and share
My favorite spiritual places:
Sai Baba's Ashram
Interreligious causes I care about:
Understanding of each other's faiths, faiths working together
Changes I am working toward in my community:
Getting people together, breaking down barriers, and working together for the good of all
Married, two daughters, studied many scriptures whilst studying philosophy and realised there are many similarities and many ways to acknowledge our human unity of self. Joined an interfaith group and have been secretary for many years, also started an annual event locally to bring all cultures and faiths together.

I welcome you as a PeaceNext friend and I am glad to be your first one here. That is the idea ... most of us here may not know each other personally, but may over a period of time. Currently, for example I have not been as active on this net as I was when I first joined in December 2009 soon after the Melbourne Parliament, but I intend be quite active again some time soon. As you explore the different opportunities and possibilities of involvement here you may request friends of members who might be working in area of similar interests ... and in this regard I look forward to know and learn from and about you and your work. I hope you will have an enjoyable experience here.
Are you on Facebook too? I am and we could be friends over there as well. Feel free to write to me anytime and specially if you have any questions.
