Judith Bruni replied to Wendy Girl's discussion Numbers in time = music in the group Sacred Music
"From what I have heard of the great teachings, that is exactly what music is. It can also be aligned with other arts, such as architecture: this also is to do with number and proportion, and any painting that is harmonious and beautiful will be seen…"

Judith Bruni commented on Deirdre Pulgram Arthen's group Sacred Music
"Thank you, Shree CKP Swamiji, that is very interesting. I used to listen to Indian ragas and talas, in private settings as well as big concerts (Ravi Shankar and Ali Akhbar Khan and others). It seemed to me the music was a living entity, improvised…"

Judith Bruni commented on Rev. Douglas Walker's group Blessings
"Opportunities for blessings indeed, and a clean slate! The ability to drop the past is a great blessing, otherwise you could take it with you and it would encumber your voyage. Many blessings!"

Judith Bruni commented on The Parliament of Religions's blog post Desmond Tutu to Address 2014 Parliament Bid Cities LIVE!
"This is excellent news! I was very lucky to see Desmond Tutu in London last week. He was the guest speaker in a lecture for the Forgiveness Project, and there we heard that he would be speaking live to the Chicago audience. I also belong to the…"

Judith Bruni commented on Rev. Douglas Walker's group Blessings
"Knowing is a much deeper reality than letting the discursive mind run over life's problems. In learning to sink deeper into stillness we can experience consciousness and so much possibility, all in the present. Which is what Louise was…"

Judith Bruni commented on Rev. Douglas Walker's group Blessings
"Yes, Doug, I can see the truth in what you say: so beautifully put. At one time I was practising such conscious meditation but as life evolved this slipped to the side as an exercise, though never really disappeared: now you are reminding me that we…"

Salaam, Shalom, Shaanti, Peace, Judith!
I welcome you as a PeaceNext friend and I am glad to be your first one here. That is the idea ... most of us here may not know each other personally, but may over a period of time. Currently, for example I have not been as active on this net as I was when I first joined in December 2009 soon after the Melbourne Parliament, but I intend be quite active again some time soon. As you explore the different opportunities and possibilities of involvement here you may request friends of members who might be working in area of similar interests ... and in this regard I look forward to know and learn from and about you and your work. I hope you will have an enjoyable experience here.

Are you on Facebook too? I am and we could be friends over there as well. Feel free to write to me anytime and specially if you have any questions.

With love and best wishes, always ...

John
