I have come to PeaceNext looking for:
networking, interreligious advocacy, interreligious exploration, intrareligious reflection, friendship
I am inspired by:
My parents and courageous peers.
My favorite spiritual places:
Wherever I can find a quiet space and/or an open heart.
Interreligious causes I care about:
Interfaith awareness and acceptance within my youth population.
Changes I am working toward in my community:
I will be joining in leading a bible study for the LGBTQ community on my campus. I feel that there is potential for the religious community to grow on my extremely secular/almost anti-religious campus. About Me:
I am from Boulder City, NV, a small town outside of Las Vegas. I went to boarding school in Claremont, CA where i met peers with a plethora of religious and cultural (many times stemming from religious) diversity. The relationships that I made with these girls were invaluable and made realize the intrinsic value every individual holds. I am now an undergrad at Bryn Mawr College where I am continuing to build such relationships appreciating religious, cultural, ethnic, and sexual diversity.
