Profile Information

Religion / Faith
Wiccan/Pagan
I have attended the Parliament of Religions:
Melbourne 2009
Local Religious Community / Interfaith Affiliation:
Correllian Nativist Tradition of Wicca and the Awakening Coven of the Path of Light
Website:
http://www.auroraaustralis.org (under construction)
I have come to PeaceNext looking for:
networking, interreligious advocacy, interreligious exploration, intrareligious reflection, friendship
I am inspired by:
Anyone who accepts the basic truth that, no matter the name of the Faith we follow or the Deity we commune with, we are all children of the Creation and beautiful in the eyes of Spirit as we understand it to be.
My favorite spiritual places:
All places of nature have meaning to me, but my most spiritual local place is Hanging Rock in Central Victoria, Australia. Places I would dearly love to visit are Uluru, Avebury, Findhorn and the site of the Oracle at Delphi.
Interreligious causes I care about:
Creating bridges between people of all Faiths
Changes I am working toward in my community:
Active networking between faiths, Pagan rights in law and society
About Me:
Compared to so many of the Delegates/Presenters/Participants I am so very ordinary. I am a 48 year old widowed woman who is disabled with MS and, despite Degree qualifications as a Naturopath and Herbalist, am no longer able to work. Despite this, I am back in study working towards a Degree in Psychology.

I was raised in a Scots Pagan family and have followed a Pagan path throughout my life. I am an Adept of the Path of Light and am a newly appointed 3rd Degree High Priestess of the Correllian Nativist Tradition of Wicca. In accord withe my Pagan faith I believe that all those of faith in Deity, no matter the form or name that Deity may take for them, are my brothers and sisters in Spirit and have my respect.

It has been such a joy and a thrill to have the Parliament finally open and to begin the process of meeting and coming to know and understand so many new and incredible souls. Although I'm not an important presenter or world-noted figure, I thought I'd add a hearty welcome to you all from a local participant.

As a Melbourne resident and part of the local Pagan community, this Parliament is giving me not only the pleasure of meeting so many notables of the world's various Pagan faiths… Continue
