Dear Rev. Francesca
I attnded the 209 Parliament, and one of my favourite sessions was on'The Divine Feminine'. I note that you are an ordained priest in the Orthodox Catholic Church of America (I'm a lay Minister in the Uniting Church in Australia which has strong gender-equity principles).
I don't know much about the Orthodox Catholic Church but I'm obviously intrigued by your ordination which wouldn't happen in the Roman Catholic Church. Could you please explain some of the differences between the two that allow (quite rightly) women's ordination, and perhaps venture an opinion as to whether the Roman Church's opposition to women's ordination is based not only on gender politics and theology but also ancient ecclesiastical politics.
Regards
Paul Williams
