I believe in peace. I believe in unconditional love. I believe there is more to life than what meets the eyes.

I have come to PeaceNext looking for:
networking, interreligious exploration, friendship
I am inspired by:
Love, and those who are willing to share of themselves freely. Those who work for the greater good, trying to see the similarities rather than our differences.
Those who never hate, only strive to understand.
My favorite spiritual places:
In loving arms :)
Outside.
Where I can *feel* the love and oneness.
Interreligious causes I care about:
A path of common ground. Unity. Oneness. Peace. Tolerance.
Changes I am working toward in my community:
Same as above.
About Me:
I am what I am. I am a lover, a sinner, a warrior, a goddess and all that inbetween.
I love being comfy. I don't care whether I have great wealth, or great jewels, I don't care whether my purse is fat or thin. I care that I am healthy, strong, and have people that I can count on. I care that I am making a difference in this world. I care that I am "leaving a mark" in this world that my life serves a purpose.
I don't care what religion or path you've chosen, nor of what you call yourself. I care about who you are for real, on the inside. Labels, names are just that ~ they are the 'name value' what matters to me is who you are and how you live, and think, what your personal philosophies and personal convictions are.
I have many friends, and I'm sure to have many more. They come from many backgrounds, many faces, and many beliefs. Each are unique, and each has enriched my life in some way. I do not define others by names and labels. I define others by whom they are on the inside.
I'm fun, yet serious when needed. I'm strong, yet I am weak. I am loving and gentle yet fierce and hurtful when needed. I'm wise, yet ignorant. I have much to learn, and much to do and see.. I am young, yet old and wise. I'm always striving for balance in my life and helping others to find balance in theirs. I'm a good listener, I make others feel at ease, and I feel I have a purpose in my life. I have yet to find my calling, as I always have felt an unexplainable 'pull' to dig deeper, to see beyond what our eyes can see, to become more than just what meets the eye..
This is me, and as the water, I'm always changing, rearranging, hot, cold, high or low, I change, but beneath it all, I'm true to myself, and my soul and I always will be.
I bid you Welcome!

Thoughts of mine

Why must there be so much suffering, anger, hate and death? Why must there be battles, and war?

To value what you have, you must first go without. To value what is truly important you must first have nothing. Hate is only a learned trait. You must first teach love, give love, before hate is overcome.
War is not of our Creator.
Man is left to make his own choices. War does not make peace. People, love, unity make peace. War creates more hate, violence, death, and continues on this vicious cycle, never ending.

There are few who walk this Earthly plane that can deny this world is changing.
The world we once knew is no longer. We all feel it.
We have entered a time of remembrance.
Remembering what once was. Peace. Love. Unity.
Once unlocked doors, now bolts and bars.
Once a country of riches and happiness,
now a country of turmoil and sides.
Once neighbors trusting neighbors, now each doubting the other.
Once welcomed all races, all nationalities, now fearful of all.
Once long walks in the park, walks in the dark,
now guarded by police, surrounded with fear, there is no peace.
Once children and teens, nothing to fear but popularity and broken hearts -
now fearing the very place they learn, fearing each other not knowing who is next to change.
It is time to dream again. It is time to move forward.

I believe, I dream of
- One race, and that's mankind
- One people, all countries unified
- One way, the peaceful way

It matters not what color you are, you are human.
It matters not what country you live in, you are still the same as I.
It matters not what clothes you wear, they keep you warm as do mine.
It matters not what religion you choose, it is the one for you as mine is for me.
It matters not what language you speak, love is universal in all languages.
It matters not what age you are, peace transends all ages.
