Richard Boothe commented on Sande Hart's group Spiritual Progressives
"I don't know why they are killing females.   Perhaps they think, by doing that, they will limit population growth . . .   Whatever their reasons, however, they're really limiting the number of females available to practice Tantra…"

Richard Boothe replied to Anand Krishna's discussion INTERFAITH DIALOGUE: Why do we fail?
"  You asked for various scholars to share their understanding of scriptures.  The problem, here, is that mere scholarship does not reveal the inner truth of mystical writings.  Such knowledge - all true knowledge in…"

Richard Boothe replied to Anand Krishna's discussion INTERFAITH DIALOGUE: Why do we fail?
"The problem with fundamentalists is that they often have a very narrow, opinionated view of their own faiths, not to mention all the rest.  In my humble experience, this stems from ignorance and prejudice, both of which are actually encouraged…"

Richard Boothe commented on Joshua Stanton's blog post Jews and Muslims in America: More in Common than We Think
"Apart from the similar cultural challenges both groups face here in America, I think a major problem is also the misunderstanding, on the part of Christians, about what these two faiths believe and practice.  This is due, in large part, to the…"

Richard Boothe commented on Inter-Religious Dialogue's blog post Is “History Centrism” a Problem? In Dialogue with Rajiv Malhotra
"I agree that all of us can do what Jesus, Mohammed or Buddha did; however, this requires full enlightenment.  The karmic argument is that one must evolve through myriad incarnations, in order to attain that enlightenment in their current life.…"

"It is interesting to note the fact that surrendering completely to God is also what Jesus taught - and, in my personal experience, is necessary for one to experience the spiritual cleansing that enables them to be reborn and enter Paradise, here on…"

Richard Boothe replied to Belén Larrosa's discussion A question on a sensitive subject matter: abortion in the group Inter-Religious Dialogue
"Regarding when a 'person' is present, one of the most ancient religious beliefs is that we, as spirits, actually enter our bodies at birth.  The soul level has been regarded as separate from spirit in some cultures, such as ancient…"

Richard Boothe replied to Belén Larrosa's discussion A question on a sensitive subject matter: abortion in the group Inter-Religious Dialogue
"While I agree with you that abortion presents many problems, I think what's missing in most discussions about it are the alternatives.  Rather than waiting until someone is pregnant to deal with the issue, it makes better sense to take a…"

About Me:
I've been deeply involved in spiritual growth, understanding and enlightenment for the past 50+ years, and rediscovered Paradise - the virtual Eden - when I was 29. At the time, I didn't know that I'd experienced classical enlightenment, but later heard and read accounts that confirmed my experience. I've never heard or read anyone else's account of entering Paradise, however, although I'm sure that's what Jesus was teaching his disciples how to do, as I unexpectedly discovered it while following his teachings in the Sermon on the Mount.
