Changes I am working toward in my community:

Getting the “spiritual but not religious” group to understand those who choose to live a religious life 3. Harness the power of technology and the internet to organize the unorganized in the interfaith community and show those who are not aware the strength that comes with it.
About Me:
Ms. Rosalee Laws is a poet, online media specialist, blogger, photographer and has been involved with multi-religious peace efforts for a number of years. She is Author of Out Of Winter (September, 2007). Most recently has joined Religions For Peace (the largest coalition of interfaith councils in the world) in New York City, Rosalee has as served as Production Manager and Project Coordinator for Talkpoint Media, Marketing Specialist and Special Assignment Coordinator for the Associated Press, and Head of the Department of Surveillance for Count On Us. She has most recently served as an Ambassador for the Parliament of the World's Religions and has helped Monks Without Borders in helping to implement their Online Peace Ambassador Program. She lives in Manhattan.

Her interests in inter-religious dialogue and understanding stems from her ancestry and life of exposure to many different religions. In her recent post she describes her current goals in the inter-religious movement as …

1. Getting people to acknowledge the core principals we all share despite religious and non religious differences

2. Getting the “spiritual but not religious” group to understand those who choose to live a religious life

3. Harness the power of technology and the internet to organize the unorganized in the interfaith community and show those who are not aware the strength that comes with it.

Originally from Tennessee with Cherokee Native American in her blood, she moved to Southern New Jersey, Philadelphia, then New York City, where she currently resides. Her beliefs reside in Shamanistic tradition/ with Cherokee Native American beliefs, but has no official affiliation with any religious group. She will continue to promote respect for all peoples and inter-religious peace.
