Children For Parliament

Children are the future citizens. Don’t they justify a role in shaping their future? Children are more nonviolent and peaceful, more religious and spiritual, more committed to interfaith and pluralism than us. Could it be a lesson for us, the elders?

"Hi Jeremy and Syed, thanks for your comments. It's a dilemma that the propagators of peace and non violence are not always followers of this philosophy. The burning question is that how the inherited values in a child could be safeguarded."

What is the true meaning of Religion for children?

Posted on January 18, 2010 at 8:09am 0 Comments

In this world of diverse religious and cultural traditions, one may wonder which religion to follow. Should I follow Jainism only because I took birth in a Jain family? Should I term Jainism as the best religion in the world only because I am a Jain? Or a Hindu, Christian, Muslim…? In the reply, a one can say ‘No you should follow a religion on the basis of your understanding and conviction’. Now the question arises that children have no such understanding or conviction in their early age. Then… Continue

My First Parliament

Posted on December 11, 2009 at 11:30am 5 Comments

This was my first Parliament and after returning back home I could feel more educated and enlightened. It is a window to see the world, its cultural and religious diversities and at the same time let the world see you, your traditions and beliefs. As HH Dalai Lama said in his valedictory speech, we have to realize our responsibilities and act accordingly to make this world more beautiful and livable.

Dear avyaktha,

Drugs in the medical shop never help to the patient without the help of doctor – that is the situation of the world today. Best druggist Jainism has been failing due representation to advertise to the needy at least to get relief – negligible persons like ckp swamijis tremendous work in this respect – we Jain definitely proud the great work – let us join hands to serve mankind

Jai jinendre,

Jain religion contents most relvent to the world to bring peace. we failed to enlighten the contents- not ready to use the local language and failed to distribute along with the other goods like that of free.No product gets market unless some one push from the back.It also applies to the distribution of good things of the religion instead of keeping in the lock

Sory for the uncalled suggestion
