I have attended the Parliament of Religions:

I have come to PeaceNext looking for:
networking, interreligious advocacy, interreligious exploration, intrareligious reflection, friendship
I am inspired by:
People who work on themselves every day; who expand their awareness, and connect with their Divine self, their True Identity.
People who act as spiritual forklifts, inspiring and uplifting others. People who fight for the rights and lives of others no matter what their religion, culture, "caste", sexual preference, or color they are.
People who are graceful, generous, respectful, kind, loving, uplifting, and those who do their best even if it's not perfect. "It's not the life that matters, it's the courage that you bring to it".
My favorite spiritual places:
The Golden Temple in Amritsar.
Being in the presence of Monet's "Water Lilies" at L'Orangerie in Paris.
Being surrounded by the sheer beauty of nature, especially up in the lush, green mountains.
Meditating and chanting the Guru's Shabads in Gurdwara.
Anywhere, where I can be offering energy healing through the Sacred Healing Space.

Hi SimranKaur,
I have not been active on PEACENEXT, however . . .

Here is an introduction to a potentially important event in which all can have an important role.

The Multifaith Concert and EXPO at Newcastle this THURSDAY (October 6) (details at( http://www.mattarafestival.org.au/external-events-various-locations/)

is a next step toward quantum leaps in a civil society. It’s on this Thursday and within a few years will spread and include an even more inclusive South Lake Macquarie Festival.

Why not sit at one of the CHAT CHAIRS at the EXPO and tell your wonder-full story. I have learned from everyone I have met and consider your story worth telling as it illustrates culture, faith and/or spirituality.

Please spread the word.

Thanks and best wishes
