- About Me:
- Suprapto Suryodarmo founded his school Padepokan Lemah Putih in Mojosongo, Solo, Central Java in 1986. Since 1970, he has studied free movement, Vipassana and Javanese Sumarah meditation; placing these practices in the nature, temple, and human field. For over 20 years Prapto has taught his "Joged Amerta" work, created ritual art, and offered public "Sharing Art" programs in villages and cities of Indonesia, Europe, USA, Mexico, Australia, Philippines, Japan, and India.
In 1997, Prapto initiated Sharing Movement—a circulation of colleagues from varied fields in Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Australia who also offering "Open Days" and "Sharing Art" programs. Web Art Garden—a worldwide network of artists and presenting organizations offer annual Art, Culture, Environment–ACE events around the world for the 5th June World Environment Day.
Suprapto is a Founding Member/Chairperson of International Foundation for Dharma Nature Time and founding member of Yayasan Dharma Samuan Tiga.
