Pantheists for Peace

Pantheists for Peace aims to explore the concept of Peace and to promote a Culture of Peace, with particular emphasis on the observance of the United Nations International Day of Peace at the Autumnal Equinox on 21 September every year.

About Me:
Born in Cardiff, Wales, to a Welsh mother and Norwegian father, I was educated in Bristol and Oxford in England and in Ismailia and Cairo in Egypt, where my father worked as a pilot on the Suez Canal from 1956 to 1969.

I have resided since 1978 in Central Italy, at first in Rome, where I worked as Treasurer for a specialized agency of the the United Nations, and latterly, following retirement, on a farm on the outskirts of Montopoli in the Sabine Hills, with my wife, Adelina, where we produce world-class organic olive oil.

We have one son, Lars, born in 1984, who is an aspiring film actor and director.

Since the late 1990s, I have been part of the Panel of the World Pantheist Movement. I have devoted a lot of time from 2006 onwards to collecting quotations of interest to Pantheists and posting them to WPM websites.

In 2001, I founded the International Pantheist Research Institute, which inter alia, awards annual prizes for Peace and the Environment.

As a writer, my primary focus is to explore the religious potential of Pantheism and to develop a structure which will promote its growth and durability.

My name is Engin AKSU. I live in the city Kütahya -Turkey. I work as a Turkish teacher in a primary school. I also research Quran (HolyBook of Islam) and believe the brotherhood of people who believes "only one God". In Quran Part:22 (Hac- Pilgrimage sentence: 40) Allah says"(They are) those who have been expelled from their homes in defiance of right,- (for no cause) except that they say, "Our Lord is Allah". Did not Allah check one set of people by means of another, there would surely have been pulled down monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, in which the name of Allah is commemorated in abundant measure. Allah will certainly aid those who aid his (cause);- for verily Allah is full of Strength, Exalted in Might, (able to enforce His Will)." And Allah says ( Part:2 (Bakara) ,sentence:62) "Those who believe (in the Quran), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve." Those are some examples from Quran.

I am the writer of the book named "Divine Brotherhood". "Divine Brotherhood" was published by Red Lead Press in 2007 and it is open to sales in Amazon.com now.
The events in the book take place in London in England. The Preface of the book has been written by Hasan KUŞÇUOĞLU.
