My Dear Sabrina, It has been nearly a year since you wrote this message to me.  It is amazing how involved we can get and in today's world how inundated with mail, etc.  I am now here on PeaceNext and am looking forward to contributing as much as I can.  I will be in Africa near the end of this year but also will keep you updated on events that may be happening there as relates to post-parliament events.

Unfortunately, we were unable to firmly establish the connections from our AAWLC group in Kenya to the Peace group in Somalia.  But, as time permits, we will attempt to reconnect with them.

Peace-filled and manifold blessings,

On the question of religious and cultural identity being mutual: I agree, but think it's much more prevalent in other cultures where all parts of the person are considered more holistically. I think urban Americans tend to think of ourselves in compartments: my spiritual self, my work self, my family self. What a lesson we can learn from people in cultures which consider their spiritual/physical/mental person to all be one.
