Religions duty of care to the faithful .

Religions duty of care to the faithful Faith is one of the most important things that we have in our lives. We all have our own personnel views of our faith as we all have our own patron God or Goddess who gives us inspiration in our lives. Religion has been one of the main strengths of society from the very first man.It has the power to bring together different factions and levels of a society and in so doing can bring help when needed to those who would otherwise be failed. This idea is far…See More

Many questions came up that made me think about the whole thing and also how we in the modern world should look at these concepts that were laid down thousands of years ago when much of what is around today never existed. One of the questions that came up was is Ma'at  reverent today at all. Gay marriage right or wrong?.

Gay marriage right or wrong?I was talking to some of the Kemetic Federations followers today and the subject of gay marriage came up. Not surprising really as this is a hot topic in France at the moment with their parliament debating the subject. We talked for a while on the matter and the main question that we kept on coming back to was who says that the joining in legal marriage is wrong and why is it wrong.Well the first bit was easy for us to answer both the christian and muslim faiths claim…See More

Delhi gang rape case moved to fast-track court

Delhi gang rape case moved to fast-track courtThe case of five men charged with the gang rape and murder of a 23-year-old woman in Delhi has been moved to a fast-track court for trial. When I first heard of this horrific crime against an innocent women I was thrown into sorrow and despair to think that any human could commit such a horrific act against another.WHY would any man think that they have any right to do this to a woman. British Airways cross case winner Nadia Eweida 'jubilant This headline is one that we should all have concerns about if we truly want to have a world that is equal and free from prejudice and hate. Although we in the Kemetic faith do not have any problems with others showing the symbols of their faith the fact that this along with other cases went to the courts in a attempt to force others to accept these symbols and ideologues is some thing that we should all question.Every person has a right…See More

If you look into your own heart,

If you look into your own heart, If you look into your own heart, and you find nothing wrong there, what is there to worry about? What is there to fear?If we act in life with a good heart toward all then we will truly be able to do this. For if we have acted out of the goodness of our hearts to all then we will never have to fear others for that goodness will come back to us.BarrySpiritual leader of the Kemetic Federation and Faith.See More

They must often change who would be constant in happiness or wisdom. At a first glance most of us will have a puzzled look on our faces and think what is this all about. But then have a look at the things that the Netjar have shown us and we will begin to see what the words mean but also how they are relervent in our lives today.A wise person is someone who sees that we have to change and grow through out our lives. This in turn will put happiness into our lives.Everything has to change in every…See More

What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others. These are words that many faiths share but this does not take from their true and important meaning. As people,, fellows bothers and sisters, no matter what our faith ,sexuality ,gender or nationality to live by these words is one of the greatest steps that we can take to bring harmony to each other and the world as a whole. So just take a second each day and think of the actions of the past day.If you had been treated the way you treated…See More

Virtue is not left to stand alone. He who practices it will have neighbors. An interesting statement and one that as a follower of the Kemetic faith I can totally understand as this is one of the things that we are shown by the Netjar in their teachings. At first the meaning may not seam clear to us but if we look at it and take the time to think you can find the message.Virtue is a important attribute in our lives we should do all we can to try to have virtue in all things that we do.When we do…See More

Prayer alone will not bring a happy society

Prayer alone will not bring a happy society We all pray to the Gods some of us everyday others less often. It is not a set thing when we should pray but in our prayers we will almost always ask the Netjar for something. There is nothing wrong with this and they will listen to our prayers but prayer is not a force of great power. We will never move a mountain by prayer alone.Prayer is a way to focus the mind by praying to the Netjar they are getting us to focus on what we are asking for.A focused…See More

Show tolerance, respect & forgiveness of our failings.

Show tolerance, respect & forgiveness of our failings. We all have failing. That is the way the Netjar created the world they even had failings during their time here in this world. When we look around us we see others failing. Do we truly see our own and if we did would we change the way we judge others.Yes I think we would. This is the key. First of all look at your own failing then you will see that the failings of others are not that different from your own.Once you have done this ask…See More
