The past, the present and the future. The past shows me tradition, the present shows me committement and the future shows me hope. I am inspired by sacred words from many traditions, the ring of truth is always undeniable.
I am inspired by the activity of the human spirit in the face of adversity .
My favorite spiritual places:
Places of natural beauty, gardens in bloom, woods paved with bluebells, mountain streams and ocean views.
Places of tranquility, the quiet of the couryard, the timelessness of the temple, the mystery of ancient stones,
Places where people gather, the vitality and energy of human life is palpable and a reminder that spirituality is about life and living.

Interreligious causes I care about:
where injustice prevails - most especially if it concerns women and children
Changes I am working toward in my community:
bringing empowerment and awakening
About Me:

I am a priestess of Isis, more properly called, hm-netert, meaning, a servant to the goddess. I took office as The Oracle of Isis at the 1993 Parliament in Chicago.
I am interested in root traditions of western culture: the Mystery Traditions of the ancient world, Hermetic Philosophy and what has been called the Perrennial Philosophy.

Report on Melbourne - a personal snapshot

The Gathering in Melborne was the 5th World Parliament. The first took place in 1893 and even at this distance of time, I can only salute those radical and intrepid souls who were able to look beyond the religious confines of their own time by reaching out to other faith traditions in search of commonality. This template still serves for the parliament meets in the spirit of co-operation and mutual sharing. Engagement is about building bridges between traditions and together facing the problems… Continue

Hi Naomi,

I see you work with Caitin Matthews. I did a 2 day workshop with her at a place called Caer in cornwall UK many years ago. It was part of an IDHP groupwork diploma and she was one of the visiting facilitators. V powerful and I understood the power of ritual for the first time with her.

By the way anyone can sign up to receive e-meditations from our network. And if you want to connect more you can also contact Ken and Elizabeth Mellor the founders of the Network. Ken is also on this peace next site .
Bye for now

Hi Naomi,

Nice to hear from you. Yes Melbourne is a great place isn't it. I hope you were able to explore the funky sides of Melbourne outside of the CBD too.

You can find out more about the Awakening Network by going to www.biamenetwork.net.au
The Network is having a name change from 'Biame' to 'Awakening'

There is a lovely quality and energy in what you write in your profile and resonate with it. I'll check out your website too.
All the best

thanks Naomi,

Indeed Pluralism allows each one of us to feel good about ourselves, and feel good to respect other peoples faiths and tradtions without ever devaluing others. It is pure goodness without the mix of jelousy or the looking down upon others devotion.
