Report on Melbourne - a personal snapshot

The Gathering in Melborne was the 5th World Parliament. The first took place in 1893 and even at this distance of time, I can only salute those radical and intrepid souls who were able to look beyond the religious confines of their own time by reaching out to other faith traditions in search of commonality. I see you work with Caitin Matthews. I did a 2 day workshop with her at a place called Caer in cornwall UK many years ago. It was part of an IDHP groupwork diploma and she was one of the visiting facilitators. V powerful and I understood the power of ritual for the first time with her.

Indeed Pluralism allows each one of us to feel good about ourselves, and feel good to respect other peoples faiths and tradtions without ever devaluing others. It is pure goodness without the mix of jelousy or the looking down upon others devotion.
