Ahmed said… - i want to invest my time and energy in an activity that will result in a policy change empowering individuals to be able to feed themselves and their families with dignity. there are many people and organizations in most cities of the world that collect and distribute food to the poor. to me that is not a good or a permanent solution. it takes away the pride and dignity of human beings and makes them indebted to other human beings, a benefactor and beneficiary kind of situation. this kind of system is no doubt valuable in saving lives in emergency cases. but for a long term solution we need to think out of the box.
