Revealing The Light - "Divine Uncertainty"

Embracing the Unknown is an expression of the Freedom That You Are. You allow the flow of events in your experience to unfold on their own without expectation. You allow the wonder of a child to fill each Moment. Unimpeded by the interference of the ego-mind, the orchestration of the Universe is always perfect.

This is True regardless of that interference as the Universe instantly adapts to what the ego-mind projects as separation, extending the Love That It IS in every… Continue

Agenda Generated Reality

This is a reprint of what I posted on my MysticTourist website this morning. I think it is important for us to reconsider our faith if we are to have any hope of peace. This post concerns itself with that.

Much of what is real is churned out by a reality generator, Agenda. We place a great deal of stock in what is real while ignoring what would seem obvious; much of what is real is not true. While we might work together…

Secular Devotion and Prayer

This is simply a repost. It is my response to a comment on my wall from Erika. I considered it substantive enough that it merited posting in my blog.

Erika. I just noticed your message. I do have a strong practice of prayer but I simply call it life. I think that if that is not prayer then there no such thing. I live a life of singular confidence and devotion, to God. I am a secularist and think that God represents Gods-self… Continue

Wear a Hijab Day to protest Burn a Qu'ran day on 9/11

I wanted to share this great idea with all of you...in support of our Muslim Sisters and Brothers, and in celebration of Eid, and in protest to the horrific 'church' in Florida that plans to burn the Qu'ran in protest over the faith tradition of Islam, I support WEAR A HIJAB DAY, and I shall wear Hijab on 9/11 in support of my sisters and brothers around the world! Help spread the word to those you know who can/will support and/or advocate this day for us all! One…

Eye on New Orleans: Katrina's Other Orphans

As we continue our Hooked on the Book campaign, we would like to take the time to honor yet another category of Louisiana residents -- our four-legged friends. During Hurricane Katrina many animals were lost and separated from their families. Thanks to the effort of the Louisiana SPCA, many were able to be reunited with their original families, while others were placed in new loving homes.

As we approach the fifth anniversary of Katrina, I am… Continue

Revealing The Light - "Life Essence"

With the Now, there is Peace ... a sense of understanding Life and how it Really IS. There is no figuring out or philosophizing, no opinions or concepts, no effort or stress to know what to do, where to go or what to say. All is given you in each Moment and for each individuated "I AM Presence", the Divine orchestration is unique.

I call this experience "Life Essence". While it lives in the Moment, without past or future, it can also permeate an environment or a thing. It is a… Continue

From this writer’s point of view, there is a wealth of resources relevant to responding to the challenges of our time. Unfortunately, many such resources and initiatives are not quite “coming through the mist as much as they should be”

“The IPCR Initiative: Executive Summary 2010” (69 pages) is an attempt to summarize and provide…

Revealing The Light - "What Do You Want?"

What do you want? What do you REALLY want ...

Immediately, the ego-mind swings into action at this question and a mental list begins appearing. It begins with a number of 'wishes' of what it "does not" want. This "don't want" list comes easily because a great deal of attention has been given to it ... this attention keeps these "don't wants" firmly in your experience.

The list of "wants" comes less easily because they are tied to unworthiness, a lack of belief and a lack of… Continue

Revealing The Light - "When The Floods Come"

For most people the floods are coming more and more frequently and more severely than ever before. Do you curse and resist them when they come ... or do you embrace the darkness as you would the Light?

Both are aspects of All That Is.

Embracing the darkness in your life, whether it be in your face or far from your experience ... is much more than a mental exercise repeated to convince your ego-mind you are a spiritual person. You must Truly experience how it feels and… Continue
