Christian and Muslims in Egypt have worked together to defeat Mubarak

Where as just a month ago a terrorist killed worshiping Christians in Egypt the outpouring of Christian Muslim solidarity as a result continues. This solidarity now has spilled over into the democracy movement. Here are some of the photos and a good story about it:

You can see the symbol of cross and crescent. The writing says: "(A message) From the Muslim and Christian…

The Universe Disperses in The Story of Adam and Eve

The personal story of Adam and Eve explains the tendency within the universe to disperse. A centrifugal motion radiating from the nucleus is what causes the worldly consciousness to appear to separate from God. The world in itself has no reality at all because it is in perpetual change without much meaning or consistency. Descriptions of faith practices are the way interfaith speakers share information that leads to greater understanding, and the clearer the language used, the better chance all parties will be able to find common ground. In this case, for a… Continue

Why Interfaith Dialogue?

I saw two groups demonstrating against the Parliament of World Religions at Cape Town University in South Africa in 1999. One was of white Christians and the other of Indian Muslims. They were standing apart from each other despite their common cause against the Parliament. What probably inspired them to oppose the Parliament was also that which kept them away from each other.

After a couple of days, I noticed that they were standing closer to each other and even talking to each… Continue
