You may have noticed that we just added a discussion board to PeaceNext.

Your Action Item today is easy: start a discussion and comment on someone else's discussion.

Easy and straightforward, however, are not always the same. After all, a beautiful photo or a cool video are interesting even if nobody comments on it, but the best discussions are always exchanges between at least two people.

Think carefully about what you want to post. Is this something people to which people can respond? Are you asking a question that they can answer? Or, are you providing an insight that will lead to discussion and sharing?

You should also be thoughtful in writing your replies and comments. Make sure you have read the post to which you are replying and be honest and respectful. Don't hesitate to share your own perspectives and experiences. Above all, be interested and patient, just as you would be in a face-to-face conversation.

Many social networks with active forums can thrive, even if they don't have many other features. The discussion forum here should be very close to the heart of PeaceNext.
