'Friendly Islam' Bumper Sticker Sparks Clash at Indonesian Church

IF YOU SAY THAT GOD EXISTS YOU ARE MUSLIM
Anybody who believe Allah [God, Lord] is a Muslim and his/her religion is ISLAM. There is only one religion from the first human being and the first prophet Adam to today that is ISLAM. If that is so what is the meaning of Christianity, Judaism and the pertaining to the prophet Muhammad? These are Shari’as. This opinion is very impotant. If this opinion is understood, the fight between Shari’as is finished and the way of dialoge is opened and our world is turned to heaven.

Mytic Tourist like what you say /....But wait, there is still time and plenty of people working to bring it about. Of course there are others who have a better idea and are working to make that sustainable. Count me with the latter group. Forgiveness must be the rule if we are to have peace.
if only the world have more of us..but sadly no..but its ok GOD has lend a big hand..no way humans can change to be good willingly how many prophect came and go.....so if by Divince Force ' is the way then that it..judgement started 1980s, lattest happening in arab, dictator thinking they are GOD ALL MIGHTER all fallone by one..overthrown by common citizen..it is a miracle..the truth is Divine force are behind them..Times magazine said that arab protesters have lost their fear..guess who took them away,guess who sent them to street..same as in communist europe after the judgement started 1987..million of common citizens lost their fear and came out to overthrow communist goverment that think they are GOD...Extreme natural disaster are getting worse and will continue to be..so as financial crisis..to go with uncureable disesases..all to wake humans up...peace and love GPDC..good to meet you again Mytic Tourist in this life..please view http://youtu.be/ljxiuSqX1Jo for more info...

GPDC, I also share your sentiment and enjoy cenk ucak's idealism. I also share your concern regarding the escalating religious violence in Indonesia. It is very disturbing, and worse, it is just one example of the simmering pot of religious intolerance that is our world. Even if there is a solid majority of religious people who are tolerant it just takes one person to ruin that. There are more than enough religious people who think that violence and suffering is Godly. Their ambition is to reduce the world to religious chaos and even Armageddon. These are some of the things we do in 'god's' name. (Lower case intended).
People think that some people are deserving of eternal damnation, they actually believe God designed and condones that. It is a small miracle that we have not brought that sensibility to fruition and destroyed the whole human race. But wait, there is still time and plenty of people working to bring it about. Of course there are others who have a better idea and are working to make that sustainable. Count me with the latter group. Forgiveness must be the rule if we are to have peace.

PS....The bumper sticker, which read “we need a friendly Islam, not an angry Islam,” was reportedly a souvenir from the family of late former President Abdurrahman Wahid. As GKI Yasmin spokesman Bona Sigalingging told the Jakarta Globe, the stickers were passed out at the anniversary of Wahid’s death on Friday.

ps cenk ucak if you print IF YOU SAY THAT GOD EXISTS YOU ARE MUSLIM sticker and drive through a christian town what will happen..or a christian print a sticker saying IF YOU MENTION ALLAH EXISTS YOU ARE CHRISTIAN..driving through a muslim town..mmmm...see it is easy say then done..i have no religion, i beleived in Our Creator the one and the only ...peace and love GPDC

I love your concept cenk ucak , i really wish hard that the world is as simple as you say it is..can one of you please go and tell the rest of muslim community or christian community to love each others..its been century and the war never never end...please read below regard these fighting and killer it happen round the world everyday in the name of religions and GOD......

If majority of muslim people interpret ISLAM for their benefits we cannot say whole muslim community is the same. We are different. Have you ever heard any of the muslim says that IF YOU SAY THAT GOD EXISTS YOU ARE MUSLIM. This is the ultimate truth. We love every creation (even person who do not believe in God) of God because of God.We cannot judge people because of their beliefs. we believe in God is the most gracious, most merciful.All of the Holly Books are for whole universe not for just some communities.God created whole universe because of love.That is why we (sufis) followed the God's prophets. They have been sent to show the ultimate truth,self realization,good manner,helping poor and needy,obtaining perfection and excellence.Nabi Muhammad (S.A.S.) states "to worship God as though you see Him, and if you cannot see Him, then indeed He sees you."

but pratically in the real world of religion muslim cant accept you as a muslim for you have to go through a process before ou can be consider one..i think you know well of that.too.by just looking at the way you
' dress up ' they would have taken back when you say i am a muslim...through my hand on experience living in a community make up of various religion group...please correct me if i have misunderstood you thanks..

What we are trying to say is If you believe in GOD what ever you name yourselves does not matter for us you are our brothers and sisters.
Well said cenk ucak...may i add on even for those dont beleived in GOD they are our brothers and sisters too..lot of them are good human beings trying their best following GOD given conscience
i beleived Nabi Mohmammad is the last messengers of GOD so as Jesus as the messengers of GOD but i dont follow both good book..i beleived in our own hand-on experiences with both of them..and Our Creator for there is only one..
Muslim talk about surrender to GOD that what GPDC did total surrender to OUR CREATOR guiding by HIM..as a channel share out what we had received..One of the received mention religion cant help this world..just look at muslim and christian you all share a lot 100 years common history but you all being fighting for 100 of years,
If one day i meet GOD, without a religion is it possible? to remind you that GOD dont have a religion and to my beleived both prophets have no religion,no koran or bible no church and mosque..they share their realization of GOD to all..no condition no fear and no favour..
ps..to our opinion..the most loyal living things to GOD on earth are not human being..but the rest of living things which HE created too..which we have abuse badly...prepare your answer you will be ask one day
