Indonesia -US Interfaith Cooperation Forum ends today

Shared Concerns and Commitments aimed to unite religious and civil society leaders for the common goal of “educating” the communities they serve about issues of shared concern. William Vendley, Secretary General of Religions for Peace and 2009 Parliament speaker describes the forum as a “very beautiful formula” that promotes religious diversity, and respect of others beliefs in cooperation. “When that happens, Muslims have said that they have become better Muslims and Christians said that they understand their faith better, so that’s the formula instead of engaging in theological dialogue,” Vendley said.
