Islamic Alliance of Anti Discrimination (JIAD) Jombang asked FPI to held a polling. So we can know the aspiration of the public on the existence of the organization led by Rizieq Shihab. Aan Anshori, the Chairman of JIAD Jombang said that this polling needs to be done. To prove Munarman's statement who claiming that the denial of FPI in Jombang was coming from the outsider group.
Ahmadiyya and the liberal group were accused by FPI as the outsider group. "So I guess if we want to be fair, whether it is Jombang society thar were ridden as claimed by Munarman or in contrary, I just wanted to invite FPI's representative in East Java to make a polling about it. We will help to find the the public response to the existence of FPI. I believe that more than half people in Jombang will say that they do not agree with the presence of FPI, "said Aan Anshori to the crew of KBR68H.
Previously, citizens who were the members of the Front Jombang Community Refusing the Arrival of FPI asked signatures from a number of Islamic boarding schools (Ponpes) and community-based organizations (CBOs) in Jombang. They explicitly rejected the presence of FPI. Why? Because this groups often act violencely.
A number of Christians in Jombang admitted that they were not dare to pray on Sunday (24 /4). For thousands of FPI's members were coming from from various regions. Yet, at the same time the Christians would held a celebration of Easter in their church.
Reverend Christian Muskanan, from Gospel Fellowship Churches and PGLII Jombang said that residents felt worried. Although the churches were guarded by the police, "Clearly it's normal feeling worried, they did not want to come to the church because many of them heard that the many members of FPI came from other cities. If it's only Jombang people it's ok but this was from outside Jombang. It's made people wonder whether we would be safe or not in the worship, "said Reverend Christian to the crew of KBR68H
