PS: "Generally speaking", liberal worship is for general and lay society, and orthodox worship is for the serious devotee/initiate deeply devoted to religious life, structure and order, both earthly and spiritually.

Both orthodoxy and liberal practices of religion will always be needed and required to keep a proper balance of worship and discipline in our world religions. Liberal practices, for the immature and undeveloped devotee with less right discernment/understanding/realization about reality, both earthly and spiritually (generally speaking). Orthodox practices, for the mature and developed initiate with far greater right discernment/understanding/realization about reality, both earthly and spiritually (generally speaking).

And by the way, "orthodoxy" should no be confused as strict dogma alone, but more of a mature and refined (disciplined) practice of religious worship.

Having said this, liberal would be considered "easier", as you say, but not necessarily "better" or more refined/mature, mystically speaking.

My life is an example where both practices have developed together, one on from the other - from immature (liberal) to mature (orthodox).
