Report of Satsang

A nation has lost it’s economy providing and declaring national holiday in the name of Democracy Day but it is a question in people in general where is the demo (people)’s cracy (rights) ? Is it not a great economic loss to our country celebrating 2 days one Democracy day and Loktantra day Jestha 15 , 2066 (May 29 2009) and Falgun 7, 2066 in a same year? If we are celebrating a republican day demolishing 241 years long royal regime with the help of Nepalese people’s IInd movement. Can not 104 years long Rana regime fall under 241 years Shah dynasty’s period? Every one is enjoying from given holiday from peace and development in Nepal without having a proper discussion on the core value and meaning of democracy, peace and development.

Keeping in mind to all mentioned Shanti Sewa Asram (SSA) also celebrated it’s ongoing regular monthly satsang organized on first Friday Falgun 7, 2066 (February 19, 2010) but with differently questioning on the leaderships and their activities in the name of democracy in it’s Satsang hall. Coincidently, the day fell on democracy day. The nation was organizing a celebration spending a huge money in Army theater in Kathmandu and district headquarters through out the country in the name of Democracy. It is a great joke to the nation and nationality celebrating only people who are in power from the State fund. Such issues and avenues were tied to seek widely from the discussants in the satsang not allegations to any one instead with their sincere hearts and expressing their positive thinking.

Programme was moderated by Guru Hari Sodari from Shanti Sewa Ahsram. He requested to respected Gurudev Dr. C. M. Yogi founder Principal, Hindu Vidya Peeth (HVP) and founder of SSA to chair the Satsang and other distinguish guests at experts in their field to take the seats as a special guest of satsang. Special guests of satsang were provided garland to recognize their selfless service to the needy communities to the society.

Chair of the Satsang respected Gurudev Dr. C. M. Yogi welcomed to special guest Captain Vijay Lama, Dr. Nava Raj Panta , Saemual Award Winner to respected Bhola Nath Yogi Principal of Hindu Vidya Peeth , Dang and Chair Children Peace Home for his successful exchange visit to England with different Universities, Educational Institutions and with many Nepalese organizations based in London. Dr. Yogi welcomed to all dignitaries who were invited for their kind presence to attend regular satsang.

He requested all presented at satsang to kindly follow the path that has shown by captain Vijay Lama who has started an innovative programme Nyanopan Karyakram among Nepalese people raising clothes to hand over to them who are needed. He requested clothes collection coordinator and Secretary of SSA Sarju Baba Shrestha to start for 100 sacks of the clothes to support captain Vijay Lama’s initiation.

Similarly, prestigious Saemaul Award Winner Dr. Nava Raj Panta was felicitated by Dr. Yogi as it is the pride to Nepal and Nepalese people that some one is recognized for his continuation hardship of paying attention towards development. This prestigious award has been provided by Ministry of Public Administration and Security as recognized Global Community Development leader, 1st time provided to the Asian leader for providing a continuous 18 years long service and expertise to Korean Government as an International consultant to Saemual Undong. Dr. Yogi maintained that people feel shame to share the member of own family has gone abroad but it is a glory to have Dr. Nava Raj Panta.

Respected Bhola Nath Yogi was cordially welcome at SSA after his successful exchange visit in different educational institutions London with the new hopes and energies to the people of Nepal as mentioned by respected Gurudev Dr. Yogi.

In the mean time respected Gurudev Dr. C.M Yogi asked L B Thapa to request captain Vijay Lama to receive his warm programme offered by SSA. Captain Vijay Lama has been informed that 30 sacks of clothes were collected for him while he was at Chainpur. Captain Vijay arrived the very same morning to receive the clothes from Nepalgunj. Clothes collection coordinator Sarju Baba Shrestha was requested to hand over the clothes to captain Vijay Lama. In the mean time Captain Vijay Lama shared his feeling that he could serve Nepalese people staying in Nepal through artists, through flying flights, through conducting TV programme and through his social service providing warm clothes to the needy people. Captain Vijay maintained that many poor people of Nepal can be helped through providing warm clothes by rich people if it is started with honestly without having vested interest like politicians and NGO people try to show their hypocracism in the name of helping poor people. He requested all to be part of this selfless service with a strong belief that Nepal can be built if it is started as a movement.

Dr. Nava Raj Panta also shed light the miracle did by Saemual Undong in Korea. Dr. Panta gave the meaning of Saemual Undong in Korean Language Sae means “New” maul means “Development” and Undong means “Movement”. He presented the chaotic situation Korean history of 60s, 70s and 80s with a turning points with the adaptation of Saemaul undong by the Ministry of unification. With in 39 years of short span of time Korea become an Asian giant Tiger in development field and 85% of Korea is converted into city. Dr. Panta shared the experience of Tin Piple that his model programme has been launched to improve the better life to Chepang community with goat bank (raring) programme in an integrated development programme with school, toilet, road. He was happy to receive the warm felicitation by SSA and extend his best wishes that he can share his expertise with SSA with many initiatives as Captain Vijay lama started. Another dignitaries of satsang respected Bhola Nath Yogi shared his feeling that he returned with the zeal from his recent exchange visit from London that he requested with Nepalese community to at least sponsor one poor Nepalese child to provide education from capable people who succeeded to get visa for London or western countries. He shared that those community are positive. He shared in the satsang. One of master Samundra Pokharel from Wangla VDC of Arghankhanchi district is being sponsored by him and provide him needful services from Children peace home dang he committed in satsang.

A Senior Social Worker Dr. Mrigendra Raj Pande shared that he is very happy to learn many more good things than politicians of the nation . He urged politician to respected and regards to copy the idea of these three young felicitated by SSA to the national development. He thanked to SSA inviting him to listen and share his few words in the regular satnsag.

Volunteers madam Sue, from U.K. Mr. Wayne Cheung from California, USA and Mr. Gillieum Barcelona along with 87 dignitaries of respective fields attended this regular satsang including teachers, students of SSA and HVP. Most of people have assured to captain Vijay lama that they would support providing clothes to the needy people.

A quick meeting held at SSA between CONNECT for CHANGE Volunteer organization and Committed to holistic Dang Development social workers

Soon after the regular satsang on 19 February 2010 at SSA a team from Dang dedicated to holistic development of Dang from different social sectors arrived and a quick sharing and brain storming meeting conducted in the chairmanship of respected Bhola Nath Yogi in the following presence :

Respected Bhola Nath Yogi welcomed to all and introduced to all with every ones field of expertise in brief. Mr. Praksha Khanal Deputy Director, Volunteering and Special Initiatives from CONNECT for CHANGE, a London based volunteer Organization dedicated to provide experts and training in the field of health and education sectors in Nepal expressed his interests to collaborate with Nepalese Volunteer organization s like CPH, HVP, Children Hospital Dang and similar other hospitals and educational institutions in Nepal. Mr. Khanal mentioned that there is an ample of possibilities to requesting Nepalese people based in London to provide their expertise in volunteerships in Nepal in the above mentioned area. He further mentioned that he will explore more to send volunteers other than Nepali once he returns back to London.

Mr. Prakash Khanal requested with respected Bhola Nath Yogi to have a memorandum of understanding for providing Nepalese Diaspora Volunteers, Workshops and seminars and Sharing Learning Resources in his presence between Child Hospital Dang and CONNECT for CHANGE.

Similarly, he requested to have active participation in a high level two day long hospital management workshop/ training on 30-31 March, 2010 in Kathmandu and relevant personnel will be invited through email by his Nepalese counterpart Mr. Acharya in future. Dr. Subhendu Gupta expressed his interest to provide his expertise in the CAD sectors if needed in the future. Dr. Gupta told about the future programme of DIRGHAYU Nepal Respected Gurudev Dr. C.M. Yogi thanked to all participants attended a quick meeting. Respected Gurudev Dr. C.M. Yogi also bribed five wings SHANTI SEWA ASRAM along with the updated recent and future programmes and activities of SSA. At the end, a special closing remarks made by respected Bhola Nath Yogi from the chair expected that a mutual and collective efforts “… Sanhge Shakti…” is needed and HVP/ SSA/ CPH will lead in the future to make the most extent possible combining from the positive initiatives that have been taken by the most of the individuals from our and societies from the other parts of the world in the future for the betterment of them who are badly seeking and expecting help.
