Many have asked me before what had ever caused me to come to believe in over 30 world religions, and how being Eclectic helps me know who I am, who God is, and why I practice the way I do.

I believe that my Eclecticism was Divinely given to me, honestly. It all began with what I believe to be a Divine Dream I had a few years ago, where I had been in a beautiful field, with white shores, grassy meadows, a deep blue sky, and peace and quiet. As I looked around this field, a golden tunnel shined brightly. As I walked down the tunnel, many religious symbols appeared on the walls. I felt that God wanted me to find and know these religious symbols, to know the Paths to the Divine.

Since the day I became Eclectic, which was not too long after the dream, I believed in One Single Divine Path of many Paths. By this, I imagined the world's religions as a puzzle. Each of us are a piece of this puzzle. When placed together, we shine as God's Puzzle, the true Path of the Paths to God.

I also like to picture our religions as different paths beneath a tall, tall mountain. Though each path is different, with a different starting point and different ways of getting to the top of the mountain, the destination is the same for all of us, the top of the mountain, Heaven.

This is my Divine Puzzle. Bless us all!!

Hey Sabina! I apologize for the belated response, I have been quite busy this past month. Anyway, I can see what you are saying regarding the similarity between Sufi thought and my thought.

However, I am unsure if Sufis do this, but I actually practice all of the religions I believe in. I incorporate their beliefs, rituals, and ways of worship into my life. From Abrahamic methods such as the rosary, the Qur'an, Bible, and Torah, to Pagan methods such as Pagan prayers, witchcraft, and ceremonial garbs and festivals, to Daoic methods, to Persian methods, to Mesoamerican methods, and so on.

I hope I answered your question correctly. Please let me know if I haven't.

May the Gods of Time Bless You,

Aaron

Dear Aaron,

How does your 'view' differ than that of Sufi 'thought' ?

I find your 'view 'very similar to mine,I think
