With the Advent of yet another year, I have chosen commonality and oneness to reflect on through the year. We are a small portion of a larger picture being drawn by some unknown hand that loves us. The energy that moves through life expresses itself in a variety of ways, all with meaning and value.
Dali lama says the key to freedom resides in our ability to understand and THINK MORE, it is ignorance of self and other which causes our discomfort. He encourages us all to contemplate and analyze our individual actions on the landscape of its effect on others. What is happening to one of us is happening to us all.
Think peace and inclusiveness; in all you think, do, and say. Dialogue begins with the willingness to question, and to be questioned, while realizing that mutual understanding and working together toward common goals requires accepting differences. In part, dialogue is an effort to comprehend the inherent value of difference and commonality, for the sake of learning and living together.
