Uganda charges British producer David Cecil over gay play
In a modern world that has been forged by the fight for human rights and justice for all no matter what their race colour faith or personal relationships how can such a headline exist.
The very fact that it comes from a nation who has had to fight for its own rights only gaining freedom and equality after defeating the forces of bigotry and racism.
How can it be that in the light of these facts of history those who govern the nation of Uganda turn their backs on the basic rights of every man woman and child to be equal in the sight of their fellow humans and the laws of their land?
We have a duty as humans to except each and every person in this world as our equal. No one has the right to judge that one persons personal life’s choices are not only wrong but are against the laws of a faith and nature.
It is not only in the Kemetic faith that we are told that we are all born equal it is the corner stone of every faith in the world today.
Yet do we see the leaders of these faiths stand up and defend the innocents who are attacked not only verbally but also in many cases physically ?
Why in fact are men of faith who preach love and understanding not only support these action but encourage them?
Why do the men and women who stood firm and defeated the racism that made them second class citizens in their own nations stand by and let this happen. Even worst they head these very attacks on the gay community.
We as fellows have to unite with each other and drive the bigotry from the places of faith, from the halls of government, from the hearts of men.
We have to stand up to the men of faith and show them that they are wrong.
When we look at all these books of faith in their purest forms when they were first written before they were changed and altered to fit the ideas of men. We will see that none of these books back their views.
We have to tell our politicians that they are wrong and if they do not listen we have to show them the error of their ways through the ballot box.
Do not turn on your brother for being your brother save your anger and hatred for those who deserve it.
The men of war, the men of terrorism those who bring sorry and pain into our lives and the lives of the innocent, these are the people who we must seek out and punish.
Not innocent men and women whose only crime in life is to love another human.
